Therefore, this environment is rich in language materials as well as opportunities to practice emerging social skills and independence. Practical Life area is abundant in materials and activities that foster independence, increase concentration, refine motor skills and build self-esteem.

My two year old attends here and we love it! All of the staff know my daughter, my husband and me by name and they are genuinely interested in ensuring we all have the best experience possible there. My daughter’s vocabulary has blossomed since she has been there, and her sense of self and independence too. She even asks to prepare her own snacks, goes to the bathroom independently and operates in the Montessori way at home. Highly recommended and I can’t say enough good things about this place!!

Our family loves the International Montessori School of Wilmington. We have been sending our kids there since 2012. The staff is patient, loving and kind. I was so stressed about having to go back to work and finding a safe and loving place for my precious babies. IMS was/is a perfect fit for us. We're so happy with IMS and highly recommended them.

My son is currently in his 5th year at the International Montessori School, and we are sad that he is already moving onto a new school next year. We could not be happier with the care and education he has received here. His teachers have all been very attentive and nurturing, and he does not hesitate to greet them with a hug every day. This is especially important to his dad and I as he spends several hours, including aftercare, at his school.
