Lakeland Marine is a family owned and operated Marine Service Center and has been in business since 1987 and has remained at the same location in Lake Havasu since 1991. We have never been busier. We had issues after having our boat serviced by another mechanic. Josh was honest and kept in constant communication with us. They appeared to know their stuff. They had us back on the water within 24 hrs and our boat is running like it should. They are not the cheapest, BUT we found out the hard way that you get what you pay for. It's better to pay a little more the first time and have the job done right! Thank you Lakeland Marine for getting it done right :)

Took my boat to lakeland desperate for a fix for my fuel problem and they took full advantage of me. They ended up replacing a bunch of unnecessary parts that were working perfectly fine (A single fuel line, fuel filter, float switch and wire for it) & replaced them with parts that were dated from 2005, 2006.
Lakeland returned the boat to me with the same exact fault code & issue that i brought it in for. After calling and explaining it has the same issue they said I was going to have to pay more to get the issue fixed (we had already paid $1200, $750 of it was in labor!). Seriously do not take

WATCH OUT!!!!!! They are DIRTY OVERPRICED SCAMMERS! Literally charged almost $1200 for a part that takes 5 minutes to swap out (claiming 7.5 hours of labor LOL) and they put an old 2005 date stamped part in the engine.
The same error code still shows up and NOTHING SOLVED OR FIXED! The guy won't listen to us or resolve any problems he just HANGS UP THE PHONE ON US!
There biggest scam is to get you to go to the bank to give them cash to save $50 because I bet EVERYONE DOES A CHARGE BACK ON THIS DECEITFUL place!

Called to get scheduled to bring my boat in for servicing the gentleman who answered and introduced themselves as the owner laughed when I said I want to bring my boat in for service saying “yeah dude no way I can get your boat in till September” , okay so one don’t call your customers dude, two don’t laugh at them when they have money to spend, simply say I’m sorry we are fully booked 🤦♂️Learn some professionalisms you pleab, because of the lack of respect I’ll be taking my hard earned money else where I suggest you do the same unless you want to be treated poorly

Local boat maintenance, repair and installation shop for everything from steering adjustment to installing the largest motors Mercury makes. Build a rapport with Cory and his professional mechanics will take care of you. They are very busy and you must call ahead since they keep the front gate locked. Good guys and they know their stuff.

My bilge pump was acting up so I called Havasu Springs boat repair (I live close by) and the guy basically laughed an said they can't get to it, they are backed up for weeks. Seriously? A job that can be done in an hour isn't important to them? Ok so I send Kevin at Lakeland an email after hours and in the morning I have a reply and he says bring it in. About 2:00pm the next day he calls me and says it's ready....come pick it up! Granted most boat repairs won't get anything done very quick but something so simple was done quickly and painless.

If I could give them a zero, I would. Our neighbor referred us to get out boat service here. Rich did upsell us and we paid $1800. Brought our boat in Monday. Gas/throttle issues. No response. It was Wednesday, so I called. They said they're trying process of elimination so they changed the fuel filter. They were going to take it for a spin on the lake as soon as the prior one came off. I called Friday. They had the boat on the lake. Update later. Rich the owner called telling us the $60 fuel filter (they put a new one on 2 months ago when they serviced it)and "5" hours of service

Got my work done in a timely manner. Gave me operational tips based on their experience. Don't understand the negative reviews here - my experience was totally positive and I'd recommend them as the first shop you should go to.

I took my boat to lake land couple weeks ago, I requested to fix the outboard was not shifting to reverse. Lakeland charged me $200, but when I went to pick it up. they said it will over heat, since the line that circulate the water to engine was not aligned. I was wondering sine they removed the outboard, why they did not place the line in the position, which it would take 5 minute. They also said, go ahead take the boat and it may not overheat. In addition they gave me a long list of replace/repair items that was not necessary, the items equate about $2500. I told them I will bring the boat back

I've decided I won't be back to this shop. Richie doesn't have good customer service.
If you have questions he doesn't address it, talks down to you as if your dumb. When your boat is in shop and you call he never knows who you are and what boat is yours. At least figure that part out! People left there boats in your care you should at least have the customer service to know whose boat is whose.
And stop telling customers "boats and water don't mix, that's what happens, it's old" .....when customers have questions address the question instead

DO NOT USE THEM!!! We took our 2005 Playcraft to Lakeland because we were experiencing a vapor lock. We left it there and were told they would run it and see what they could figure out. They called us back and told us it needed a new fuel pump and fuel cooler. They also said they would have to pull the motor in order to change the fuel pump and it would be approximately $1,800.00 we told them to go ahead and do the work. We paid them the $1,800.00 and picked up our boat. We took the boat out on the lake a couple days later. Well the same thing happened. We drove it around and stopped in a cove

Steer clear of this shop! They billed my credit card without authorization for almost $1000.
It took me quite a while to get those charges reversed.
I took my Mastercraft X45 to their shop for a simple overheating problem and they decided to start disassembling my Motor which had about 120 hours on it. After trying to charge me for numerous repairs, it turned out it was a simple stuck thermostat.
I had to pick it up and return it to a Mastercraft dealer in another State and they determined the actual problem. This shop was ready to pull the top end on my almost new motor. Some items were also

I've been going to Lakeland Marine for about five years for my yearly service. They always perform the work in a fair amount of time which is crucial when I don't live here full time.
I initially switched to them from another shop because their price was more competitive.
This year I had some problems that initially appeared would cost about $2,500. After coming down to go over the issues, they explained the liability associated with not recommending a part replacement which after looking at it helped me realize this was there way of saying, may not be necessary now. It saved me

Well I am going to start the review by saying Lakeland Marine takes care of there customers, the owner and I had a bad experience back in December but i thought some of the repairs they did went south in the short amount of time and Lakeland stood behind there work, since then the owner and i both spoke about December incident and chaulked it up to miscummunication

Rich the owner actually called me a a hole because I wanted to know why the estimate was so high, then when I told him I did not want to do all the work he didn't take my boat back to storage and threaten to leave my boat on the street so it could be towed away. Luckily I had a friend that lives there and he went to go get the boat at take it back to the storage year
