I am John DiEnna designer and jeweler at JD3 Jewelry and Gemstones. I am self taught and the more I learned about jewelry design the more I wanted to know. I started to design as a way to make my drawings be more life like. I am inspired by nature and architecture and want the pieces I make to reflect this.

JD3 specializes in jewelry repairs of all kinds from sizing of rings to full restoration of broken jewelry. We offer torch soldering for simple repairs to laser welding for intricate and more difficult repairs. We also can repair or replace diamonds as well as matching missing or broken gemstones in your piece of jewelry or a total restoration of an antique piece to bring it back to wearable condition.
The color evaluation of most gem-quality diamonds is based on the absence of color. A chemically pure and structurally perfect diamond has no hue, like a drop of pure water, and consequently, a higher value. GIA's D-to-Z color-grading system measures the degree of colorlessness by comparing a stone under controlled lighting and precise viewing conditions to masterstones of established color value.

I found this place by doing a Google search for jewelers near me…and I’m SOOO glad!! John owns a small business where he performs most work from his home; however, please don’t let that deter you. The work is SPOT on! My husband purchased a gold bracelet that needed to be shortened. John is very knowledgeable and explained everything to me. He answered all of the questions that I had (which were plenty)! He was very accommodating and had a reasonable turn around time. I'm so glad that I've found this place on Google. The reviews led me here and now in return, I hope I lead a future customer to this business. John is AMAZINGGGG!!!!! I recently got married and a week after one if my diamonds came out my ring. I sent my ring back to the people I got it from and the day I recieved it back another diamond falls out. Well I looked John up and saw his great reviews. John answered the first time I called. He took his time with my ring and explained every step to me. He not only fixed the diamond that came out but also made sure every diamond was in tact and not able to fall out again. John is amazing and I'll continue to say this. He has a forever customer in me.

Top notch service!! I came in to get my gold ring resized and repaired due to it breaking recently. From the beginning John was very knowledgeable and clear about what repair method would be the most effective, and even offered alternative methods of repair based on what I desired. I wanted a reinforced method to stop my ring from breaking again & John was able to offer that to me. Due to using gold to repair the crack in my ring, which is what I desperately wanted, and the method(layering) he applied, an untrained eye could never tell. I am thankful for finding him and will visit him again

Beyond pleased! I must admit that I was extremely apprehensive about this home shop when I first drove by, but decided to give JD3 a try after not having much luck finding a local jeweler. I am so glad that I gave John a second look. He was friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming as he shared his journey to becoming a jeweler. I had several pieces fixed, including a badly damaged and tarnished heirloom ring. I was a bit taken aback by his pricing, but the quality of his work was unsurpassed. EXCELLENT JEWELER!!! Called the number listed for 3 different jewelers for a sizing estimate and timeline. When I spoke with "JOHN" I instantly knew he was my guy!! John was an absolute delight to work with! I wanted to get the back of a watch engraved with our children’s footprints for my husband and John did an absolutely beautiful job. The picture doesn’t even do it justice. On top of doing excellent work, he was truly one of the nicest guys I’ve ever spoken with. He was very accommodating and easy to work with and very personable. John is great to work with very honest and there is no job to big or to small he wouldn't consider .
My husband birthday was approaching and I had a lighter that was rusted but had my husbands father name engraved . To my husband it meant everything it belonged to his dad whom past away 12 years ago . John brought it back to life for me .
He did exactly how I described . I wanted no features changed just to clean it up and coat it with gold and make sure his fathers name was still able to be seen , John did exactly that .
I couldn't thank him enough .
