Services
Private ballroom dance lessons are the fastest and most effective way to learn ballroom dancing. With one-on-one instruction on the schedule that is suitable for you, our experienced instructors will work with you on dance steps, styling, technique and other fine points in ballroom dancing. You can feel at ease to ask questions and progress at any rate that is suitable for you.
This is a single 45 minute private introductory session where you will get introduced to up to 3 dances of your choice. The most common dances are Cha-Cha, Rumba, Swing, Salsa, Waltz, Foxtrot and Tango. During your lesson one of our experienced teachers will show you some basic moves to get you comfortable moving around the floor, answer any questions you may have, and set up a schedule for your "Learn How to Dance" program.
This program is designed for dancers who are interested in competitive level dancing. There are dance competitions nearly every weekend somewhere in the United States. You can travel to sunny Florida to compete this weekend and go to New York or Los Angeles next weekend. Compete just one competition a year or compete every weekend - the choice is yours!
For our kids classes (up to 16 years of age) we offer private beginner level dance lessons at a reduced rate. We also teach advanced level children all the way up to Championship levels. Kids classes and programs consist of private lessons and supervised practices. We have Recitals, what we call Showcases, 2 times a year and we encourage kids to compete at Ballroom Dance Competitions around the country.
At Starlite Ballroom we offer wedding dance instruction to help prepare our clients for their first dance. We understand that dancing for the first time can be intimidating. We teach beginner level figures and patterns and help our clients feel more comfortable on the dance floor. Our wedding dance programs are designed and customized to fit each and every clients need.

At first, Starlite seemed like a very accommodating and friendly place to learn how to dance for our wedding. Our instructor was very patient and informative; however, due to some miscommunication, my now husband and I double booked ourselves one night when we were suppose to have a lesson. We explained to the woman and were very apologetic, but we could not miss our other meeting. She explained that the $$ and lesson could not be made up, which we were fine with since it was our mistake. However, after that, they stopped answering and returning our calls -- despite our already having paid for

I love this place!!! I wanted To extend my dance and started private lessons. I have a great instructor Candi Perry that literally has taught me how to dance like a million bucks!! Salsa, rumba, cha-cha just to name a few. I like the fact that they ask you what you want to learn, and don't stop until your there..
