Having DJ equipment, and running cords on the ground at a ceremony site may be a necessity. Having these items in your pictures is not. Whenever possible, most, if not all DJ equipment should be out of sight, giving the photographer room to work their magic. Wow, I can't say enough good things about John Correll. He made my husband and I feel so at ease throughout the whole wedding process because of his attention to detail, his amazing response time, and his concern for us having the best day of our lives. Many of our guests commented how much fun the dance floor was and how it had music appealing to all different age groups. John thinks of everything - from small portable fans he placed on the head table for us, to fixing the ties of all of the bridal party before the ceremony, to having tissues ready for my husband and our parents. John did an amazing job at our wedding. He works with you prior to and sends clips to confirm all the special songs are correct. His wedding knowledge and experience is very helpful as well. He went above and beyond at our wedding. We had our main dance floor area set up under a tent but some evening downpours were going to make it too difficult for guests. John quickly moved his set-up inside to our reception area and got the dancing going. He read the room and kept the dance floor going. He did a great job of playing our selected songs too! We highly recommend John Correll Professional DJ Services! If you are looking for a DJ, send John an email right now!! John is responsive and thoroughly answers emails and phone calls quickly. We spoke on the phone a week before the wedding about all of the wedding details, about our specific song requests, and to make sure he announced the wedding party correctly. The day of our wedding, he set up hours early and made sure everything was in place for all events. He was always there when we needed him. He played all of the songs we requested and even played our requested songs during cocktail hour

John did an amazing job at my wedding, 9/22/18 at Gable Hill! He seriously went above and beyond the role of DJ to make the wedding go smoothly, even with on-the-fly schedule and plan changes. He answers emails very thoroughly in minutes and spoke with me on the phone a week before the wedding to make sure everything was perfect. Not only does he keep guests on schedule, but he keeps the bridal party & the bride & groom on task and ready for the events that were coming up. John was BEYOND amazing! I initially was a little nervous going off just reviews, but I am so happy! John was so on top of email communication, rarely over just a few hours for a response. Even before signing a contract, John asked if I needed recommendations for other vendors, and the next day had sent me a list of people he has worked with in the past.
When it came time to pick music, John provide a questionnaire to fill out, along with a list of popular songs for each part of the wedding. That was SO helpful as a starting point for us.
