After Joyce was diagnosed with dementia, we tried to accommodate her at home for several months. We finally realized this was not the best option for her and we needed additional care and a better environment than we could provide her at home. After visiting several other facilities, we heard about Majestic and made an appointment for an onsite visitation.

My mother was a resident at Majestic Memory Care until her passing in mid October of this year after a year of many difficult illnesses. My family and I cannot thank the staff and administration at Majestic enough for the thoughtful, respectful and compassionate care they provided to my mother while she was at Majestic. Majestic staff at all levels, from the maintenance staff to the nursing staff made sure she was safe throughout this horrible Covid period and that she didn't feel alone. They provided daily activities to keep her active and entertained. They often sent us photos of my mother interacting

I was asked to perform for their residents facing Alzheimer's and dementia. I perform as a singer which I have performed several times a year at various places. I sing at about 100 venues in South Florida and I have done over 1000 performances over the last few years. I do not charge much for my services, however Majestic's Bobby Gates asked me to reduce my price, and in offering a lower fee I would become a regular gig. The residents, their families, and the staff all told me they enjoyed the performance. I performed in August 2018, I left thinking Majestic would become a steady gig. that never

It has been a trying time for the family with my mother getting Alzheimer's at a young age. The need to move her to a safe space was very concerning. The Majestic Memory Care Center has put these concerns to ease. The "open" space, the garden area, the clean and uncrowded feeling differed so much from all else we saw in South Florida. The staff has been professional and so reassuring to my mom and us as a family. Great place for when it is needed.
