Alaskan Events & Catering, by Executive Chef Kirsten Pedersen, is a full-spectrum catering service in the Anchorage and Mat-Su area. We offer complete catering services for unique Alaskan weddings including outdoor and destination weddings; social events such as birthday parties and anniversaries; corporate events for grand openings, business promotions & employee appreciations etc.
Omelets & Waffles Made to Order with all accompaniments; menus are tailored to the clients' requests. Required facilities, services and staffing determined by location and venue. Beef or Chicken in Soba Noodles, mixed with Asian Vegetables and tossed in a Soy Ginger sauce. Served in the Mandarin Box with chopsticks!
Traditionally, weather in May and June is better than July and August. If planning an outdoor wedding you are advised to plan on renting tents, just in case the rain opts to 'drop in' on your event. Do you prefer a full dinner, buffet style, or a plated presentation with individual guest service?. Based on the facility of where the reception is held, some venues are better suited for one particular type of service or another.

I decided to order a Mother's day meal from Alaska Events and Catering this year. Allowing me to enjoy more time with the family while also supporting a locally owned and operated small business during this pandemic. I cant tell you enough how well the food is! The prime rib was smoked and so juicy! Mashed potatoes were buttery, creamy, and delicious! My kids had seconds and thirds. I will most definitely be returning :) Thank you Kirsten for making my meal with lots of love <3 My entire family enjoyed our day because of your hard work!

This review is long overdue! Kirstin catered our wedding several years ago, and we were blown away by what a fantastic job she did. We'd never been to Alaska but wanted a destination wedding, so we were doing all our wedding planning from California, which wasn't easy. Kirstin not only helped us with the catering but went out of her way to help when we ran into problems with other parts of the wedding planning. Then on the day of the event everything with the food went absolutely perfectly. Kirstin showed up right on time and had everything ready to go just as planned, and the food
