Services
The Funeral Home was founded in 1917 by Ward Stutz and Jesse Sando. In 1939 the firm moved to its current location on Main St. In 1941 Harold Kreitzer moved from Brookville to Arcanum to help in the business. After serving in the Navy, Harold came back to Arcanum with his wife Tootie. He was licensed as a Funeral Director/Embalmer in 1947.
David Fellers is the son of Jack & Connie Fellers of Englewood, OH.
David & Barb are the proud parents of 3 very wonderful children: Matthew, who joined the staff at Gilbert-Fellers in January of 2009, has a bachelor's degree in Mortuary Science, and he is a licensed Funeral Director, Embalmer and Life Insurance agent; Andrew has a bachelor's degree in Human Biology from Kettering College of Medical Arts, and he received his MD from Loma Linda School of Medicine.

The basic Military Funeral Honors (MFH) ceremony consists of the folding and presentation of the United States flag to the veterans' family and the playing of Taps. The ceremony is performed by a funeral honors detail consisting of at least two members of the Armed Forces. The Funeral Honors rendered to you or your veteran will be determined by the status of the veteran.
