Services
Zimmerman Funeral Home was originally founded in Gratis, Ohio by Lurton Zimmerman and his wife, Lizzie in 1892. The funeral home was and still is located at 113 Ada Doty Street in Gratis. Lurten and Lizzie had four sons, Lysle, Oleson, Leonard and Robert Zimmerman. The funeral home soon became Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home as Lysle and his wife, Irene became involved in the funeral business.
When planning a service, you have many options available to you and we will do all that we can to provide a beautiful and respectful ceremony. No matter your choice, we can offer you a space to join with family and friends in grief, comfort and love. And above all, we will do our utmost to honor your loved one.
Staff members of Lindloff-Zimmerman Funeral Home are caring and experienced professionals. It is with great excitement that we, Ron and Angie Gard, announce our recent purchase of Lindloff-Zimmerman funeral homes. We are honored that Lysle and Jo Ellen Lindloff have entrusted us with their family business and we plan to continue to do business with those they knew and loved.
When it comes to your final arrangements, shouldn't you make the decisions? The arrangements you make will reflect your exact wishes and desires. Pre-arranging your own service will help to ease the burden of your loved ones. It will also alleviate any questions, problems or differences, which can occur among family members.
Meaningful memorialization of a loved one's passing can transform, heal, and comfort us. It highlights our loved ones' sacrifices, reminds us of the things that they value, and inspires us with their life stories. Have the Talk of a Lifetime, a program created by The Funeral and Memorial Information Council, was designed to help families have meaningful conversations about the things that matter most in their lives.
