Permanent cosmetic makeup is cosmetic tattooing. The specialized techniques used for permanent cosmetics are often referred to as 'micropigmentation', 'micropigment implantation' or 'dermagraphics.' The cosmetic implantation technique deposits colored pigment into the upper reticular layer of the dermis.
Permanent cosmetics procedures are performed using various methods, including the traditional tattoo or coil machines, the pen or rotary machine and the non-machine or hand method. The process includes an initial consultation, then application of pigment, and at least one or more follow up visits for adjusting the color or density of the pigment.

I had a mole that was blue. I needed it neutralized so it would be brown. That means orange needed to be added. I was told in advance that the artist would take time listening to me before the procedure. She was sweet, but assumed the color I needed as she said it was a great color for everyone. I insisted on seeing on my skin first before applying it and it was green. She was surprised and didn't want to take more time to see what color was right for me and applied a color that was equally as bad and did not correct or help the problem I came in for in the first place. OMG ! What a wonderful experience. Cookie is my hero ! Amazing personality with talent like no other. My daughter told, from her own experience with Cookie, that I would love her too. I previously had an awful experience with another permanent makeup person that Cookie is now having to correct. Also Cookie did a permanent eyeliner touch up for me. I had the eyeliner done many years ago with a great amount of pain. Very good experience with Cookie - less pain is always a good thing. Cookie's talent exceeds all others. I just recently had permanent makeup applied to my eyebrows and eyeliner areas. I am so pleased with the final result! I was looking "washed out" but now I look refreshed instantly. My time spent in the mornings getting ready for work have been cut in half. Cookie was very patient with me and answered all my questions. She truly cares how you look and feel. I found Studio Bella through google. I reviewed several YouTube videos and I found this one to be my favorite. The video is very detailed and Cookie, the artist is down to earth. At my age, I am not looking for a glamor magazine feature. I just wanted to improve on the existing features God has given me. In sitting with Cookie and having conversations on various topics, I found her to be very loving, compassionate, caring and knowledgable. I have a form of alopecia that had caused me to lose much of my eyebrows. They were sparse throughout and totally missing on the ends. I met with Cookie and immediately felt comfortable with her.
