ZUZI! is very excited to introduce you to Debby. Our Teachers are very important to us and, of course, key to continuing our Mission. Please take a minute to read this short, fun interview with Debby. Also, be sure to visit her website for more information on her personal company and other dance opportunities!
We are very happy to begin this new session with in-studio & virtual classes, workshops, and shows! E-mail ZuziSphere@gmail.com with any questions regarding registration or class information. The use of playful improvisation, relaxation and writing will culminate in building a group movement phrase to go with our theme.
ZUZI! provides an encouraging and artistic framework for adult students to develop as dancers, choreographers, and artists. I am one of those students and immensely grateful! I have been a part of ZUZI! since I was seven years old. ZUZI! has given me a place to grow and a place to move. Being able to have a place to dance and to create has allowed me to express myself in a truly special and unique way.
We have a "wish list" of items and/or services that will help us do just that and will help us to keep ZUZI! Dance a professional, safe, fun and positive place for our students, teachers, families and Artists. In return, donors receive a tax donation letter itemizing the gift(s) and the monetary value.

Zuzi offers something that is rare these days -- drop-in adult dance classes in a warm, accepting environment. There is no judgement at this studio. Folks can come in and experience a class in several different styles (aerial, modern, choreography) and be welcomed as they are. The classes are small, providing personalized attention from instructors. There are opportunities for performing here, which I love. However, no one is pressured and if performing is not your thing, that is okay too!
Zuzi is also very involved in the community, which I appreciate. They partner with other dance organizations

This local dance studio is a true Tucson Gem. I have not taken classes personally, but have been to several performances over the years. The last time I was simply blown away. The dancers were of all ages, sizes and skill levels, and yet the whole evening had a polish and professionalism that was impressive. The music, the poetry, the lighting, the variety of pieces performed. I enjoyed it all. Several of the pieces actually moved me to tears. Others made me grin from ear to ear. Others were simply beautiful and thought provoking.

The people are the nicest around--the teachers, the staff, the other students. I have been going to Zuzi on-and-off for years. It is an invaluable hub for artists in Tucson.
They are very welcoming to beginners and have a lot to offer skilled dancers as well. Very inclusive.
Love the community ethic. Love the somatic orientation.
I've tried lots of different classes and have enjoyed them all.
A unique place for aerial *dance,* not just aerial tricks.
Helps me stay strong and active and social.

There is no place like zuzi. From classic to modern to tap to trap, to movement and release plus metlar and felde and skinner...oh my! The wide range of modalities offered in such intimate class settings should be enough to continue to draw in and nurture the most eclectic of appetites. But the depth of knowledge and awareness of movement and the energies behind it truly make this place a rare Jewel and a tremendous value for those lucky enough to step through its doors. My daughter and I are forever stronger and better for our time here and eager for fall semester to start.

As a mom who hadn't danced in years, Zuzi has been the perfect place to rediscover my passion for dance. Zuzi is multi-generational and really welcomes dancers of all ages, shapes and abilities. Now my 7 yr old son and I both take classes at Zuzi - my son LOVES aerial dance on the trapeze. I absolutely recommend classes at Zuzi, whether you are looking for your child or for yourself.
