My enthusiasm and passion for movement and boundless possibilities has been the fuel for my post-graduate studies in manual therapy and focused exercise. I have specialized in working with people with neck and back dysfunction, knee and hip pain, and complex medical condition. It is humbling and rewarding to work with people as they journey toward healing, wellness, and joy!
My passion for Physical therapy and wellness began from a very young age. I experienced many physical injuries in my youth, and this experience nurtured a high level of compassion, empathy, and desire to serve others. At Focus Forward in Napa County, CA, physical therapy begins with a thorough evaluation to identify the cause or causes of pain and dysfunction for each client. A comprehensive approach is utilized to identify all of the contributing variables. After the assessment is made, goals are set by the client with the physical therapist, and a treatment plan is established to optimize healing.
Correcting body mechanics and healing injuries are enhanced with good food nutrition and nutritional supplementation when needed. Our physical therapists can guide you on this road, with Christina Leisen, DPT, Certified Applied Clinical Nutritionist leading the way with specialized certifications in nutrition and supplementation.
