Spring Grove rehab is worthy of 2 stars. My grandfather has been at Spring Grove for four years and throughout the years we've run into several problems ranging from letting his bedside alarm ring for long periods of time (30 minutes+) with no assistance, leaving pills by his bedside while he was sleeping (he's blind, how was he supposed to know they were there when he awoke?), having to be on top of the nurses to change his sheets & tend to basic needs, amongst other things. My family visits my grandpa once to twice a week and if it wasn't for our constant supervision, I wouldn't feel comfortable

I was transferred from a very poorly run facility to Spring Grove. I was so relieved to suddenly be in a clean, well-run rehab, which was so attentive to my needs and extremely helpful whenever I had questions or concerns. The staff was great and my therapists really cared about my progress. They were even very kind and welcoming to family & friends who came to visit.
I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the meals. Mr. Ken Black who ran the kitchen went above and beyond to make sure everyone was happy with their meals and snacks. The food was delicious, but in the unlikely event

We moved my dad to Spring Grove from another facility because of the lack of care he had been getting. Wow! What a difference!
We are so grateful to the warm and accommodating staff at Spring Grove. Everyone here is immensely kind and compassionate. My dad’s therapists are wonderful and caring and are really helping him get stronger each day.
The facility itself is so beautiful, surrounded by tall trees and flowers. We visit dad either on the lovely outdoor deck which has seating and umbrellas that residents and visitors can use. If it’s raining, there are modern and clean indoor visiting

Went to 10 different senior homes for my grandma. I wouldn't have put my worst enemy in any of them. Thank God for Spring Grove. The second I walked in, I knew I could breathe again. Thank you for your kindness and your understanding. But most of all Thank you for taking such good care of my beautiful grandma. ❤

The most honest assessment I can give is a copy/paste of a text I sent to the hospital Social Worker who found Spring Grove: “Hi Barbara! FYI, Spring Gardens is unbelievable: spotlessly clean, no odor, updated, nice inside common area for patients, large outside deck with tables, large patio in beautiful garden area, rooms overlooking the woods or gardens, peaceful atmosphere. The staff are all so pleasant and very attentive. And they accept Medicaid! Tuck this gem away for those who are willing to travel to Union County. Thanks again for your efforts...”

I have only good things to say about this rehab! We used it after a hip replacement surgery. The staff is great, from admission to the nurses and physical therapists. Everybody is very professional, patient/calm, and helpful. Kathy (social worker) is a great advocate for patients! The interior has been recently updated and feels like a modern hotel. Highly recommend!

If I could give ZERO stars I would. Social worker, admissions & front desk girls were kind & lovely to work with. As were the physical therapists but the aides & nurses that were in charge of taking care of my mom for 4 days neglected her new ileostomy to the point that she’s on the verge of celulitis. I had to pick my mom up & drive her myself to the overlook ostomy center where they advised me that her Severe skin infection was most likely due to having her bag not emptied as needed. This was why she was getting constant leakage in which she sat for hours. I checked her out & never looked back

Hi Everyone:
I am writing to say goodby till we meet again. Being here at Spring Grove for 3 weeks has been a very positive experience for me. Thank you, thank you!
To begin with, everyone was very welcoming. The general care was excellent day and night. Everyone always seemed to be in a good mood making the atmosphere very upbeat.
The PT and OT was excellent, I feel so comfortable now that my good leg is up to allowing me to do more on my own. At times the exercises were very difficult but everyone was supportive while urging us to reach higher.
I am hesitant to name names because I don’t

Spring Grove administrator, Mr Ely is outstanding every day. He attempts to right the wrongs on a daily basis. I would definitely stress the need for a compassionate attitude among all staff particularly the aides. Loran is extremely compassionate. After all, the patients in the bed are mostly helpless depending on human kindness. Like all institutions we need to continue to strive for improvement. I will always be grateful to the south wing staff particularly Margie and Maria. Maria and Brittney from therapy were great. Thank you!!

This is a bit late but do not bring your elderly loved ones here for long-term care. Great PT but do not bring your loved ones here for long-term.
My grandma had been at Spring Grove Rehab & Health Center since maybe February through end of September of last year. She was 81 years old and had a major stroke in 2009 which left her left side of the body completely paralyzed and recently diagnosed with congested heart failure (found out last year). My grandma's physical therapist called my mom on a Thursday morning and told her that my grandma was too weak to go to physical therapy and that
