With over thirty (30) years experience as a clinician, (most of it specializing in chemical dependency and family counseling), I currently provide professional counseling services in a private practice. I work with a broad spectrum of clients.

Having been engaged in the counseling field since the l980s as a guidance counselor working in inpatient treatment facilities for adolescents and later, chemically dependent adults, I launched a private practice in l990 in Stillwater when I started back to college to acquire my Ph.D. in Human Environmental Science with a specialty in Family Relations and Child Development.

Recovery from "codependency" is a developmental process that occurs over time. Recovery is not a finite event, but rather an ongoing evolutionary process. People who identify themselves as "codependent" know what they are trying to eliminate and change in their lives, but they may not be so sure about what healthy looks like from a codependent's frame of reference.
The Cross Addiction Worksheet This is a brief version of the Cross Addiction Worksheet. The full version is included in the "Understanding Cross Addiction To Prevent Relapse" Ebook. Cravings are like the siren's voices, seducing you to engage in the problematic behavior that you are trying to quit.
