Dr. Thompson founded Country View Pet Hospital in 2005.
After several years in a leasehold facility, she decided to make a commitment to the community, moved just across the road, and built a state-of-the-art facility in her hometown. This new facility opened in July of 2012, adding several new services and employees. Dr. Thompson graduated from The Ohio State University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 1996.

Our private entrance allows pets suspected of contagious diseases to come in separately away from the rest of our patients. This private entrance also allows our pet owners some much-needed privacy during difficult times.
With everyone's busy schedule, it is nice to know there is a place your dog can go to spend a day away- you work, they play! Our daycare guests love to make new friends and are temperament tested for group play. Our laser therapy is great to help add comfort to your pet's life! This simple therapy feels like a massage to your pet and is great for any condition requiring help with inflammation or healing. We use the therapy laser post-operatively and in common conditions like arthritis, wounds, and more. Our special thermal imaging with our Digatherm camera helps us to pinpoint areas of concern to better tailor your pet's laser therapy.

Everyone was extremely friendly and looked over our pup carefully and precisely. They offered great recommendations for care. I love that you have the walk in service because our pups can get sick or hurt unexpectedly and scheduling an appointment last minute can be hard. Thank you for all you do!

My cat Tom started having blood in his urine. He’s was frequently urinating small amounts outside the litter box. I called my vet and they referred us here! They were able to do an ultrasound and found a bladder stone causing the issues. Got us in during their walk in appointments before noon. They checked him immediately to make sure no blockage and he was stable enough to wait to be seen. Great communication and service! It’s safe to say we now have a new home at Country View Pet Hospital, we have already scheduled appointments for the rest of our pets!

Ridiculous service/wait time today.
Waiting only to be seen was from 8:35am to 10:02am..
Not happy about that at all!!
Yes we did walk-in curbside service..we were the ONLY car in the lot as far as patients goes upon check in & was informed it would be 9am because that's when they take patients back..well 10:02 am must be the new 9am..
A courtesy call would have been nice.

The office manager contacted us this morning to follow-up on our tx given yesterday.

These people were all absolutely amazing! Their walk-in service from 9am-1pm is great! My kitty's regular vet couldn't see her until Dec. & my other vet that I go to couldn't see her for a week & 1/2 out. But Country View got her in & treated her the same day I went in! Thank you so much to the Dr. & all the staff!

I called my regular Veterinarian and the could not see my pet they recommend Dr.Jill Thompson at Country View Pet Hospital. I went in as Walk in and the took great care of Scrappy. They waste no time in finding out what was wrong with him. I have switch Scrappy to them. I will tell all my friends with pets to go there.

We brought our senior pug in because our old vet just wasn't working out. The vet changed his meds so he was more comfortable. He lived just 2 more weeks. When it was time to euthanize, the staff was very caring. They have a special room. We were able to be with him comfortably. It was a sweet memory.

First, Wow! They do walk-in visits! I had to do a walk-in visit as I came from out of town so this was a first visit for my dog. From the moment I walked into the building I immediately felt comfortable with the staff; everyone was very friendly and eager to address my needs. Dr. Gano was so kind, thorough and she took her time answering all my questions. I even received a call a few days later from Katie to check on my dog and to see if I had any follow up questions. I would 100% recommend Country View to anyone. You will not be disappointed!

I brought my German Shepard in for an issue with a bump on her ear today after my usual vet Orchard was booked up. I was worried with them only offering walk in appointments that it would take forever, however even with 5 dogs in front of us we were there maybe an hour max. The staff was great, and the price for treatment was very fair. Would definitely recommend!
