Manoogian Manor residents receive home-cooked meals, assistance with medications and the care of a visiting physician. They maintain active lifestyles with daily activities like bingo, crafts, exercise and music. Manoogian Manor offers Friday night movies, ice cream socials and outside entertainment.

Services
Manoogian Manor a sixty bed non-profit facility providing assisted living and personal care services for our residents. In 1949 the first Michigan Home for the Armenian Aged was opened in a small farmhouse in Detroit. This was made possible through the efforts of thirteen dedicated Armenian Women and the entire Armenian Community.
Manoogian Manor is founded on the principle of providing the type of care that residents expect to find within the warmth of a family-like setting. Because we feel that Manoogian Manor is truly a "home away from home, " we call our special brand of care, "Family Style Care." It is a place where residents, guests, and staff are respected and their dignity honored.
Respite care is short-term care for seniors. Sometimes, family members are unable to provide elderly loved ones with senior care services for a certain amount of time. You can turn to our Manoogian Manor to receive all the respite services you need. Long term care is not always needed from an assisted living facility.
Physical, Occupational and Speech therapy are available on site by our Home Care partners. These services are provided when ordered by a physician and may be covered by Medicare. Podiatry services are provided by our licensed Podiatrist who visits our facility regularly. Manoogian Manor provides nursing services by our in house caregivers overseen by our professional staff.

I've had the pleasure of working with the staff at Manoogian Manor. They take personal interest in caring for their residents as they maintain a very family atmosphere, unlike some of the much larger "chain" senior living residences. Even the management staff at the Manor are, themselves, often out of their offices and "hands-on" assisting residents -- very exceptional in this business. Overall, this is a standout operation.

When looking for an assisted living for our father in August 2020 during the pandemic our family decided on Manoogian Manor for so many reasons. The facility is very well maintained, clean, did not smell like many we visited did. The entire staff at Manoogian Manor from caregivers, receptionists, marketing Director, Life Enrichment Director, kitchen staff, maintenance are all very caring, experienced, upbeat, happy and love their jobs and the residents. When I asked if I could somehow talk with my folks, they tell me they don't do that. My mom and dad don't have a phone. So the place makes no effort for me to communicate with them. I live out of state. When my folks were at Brighton Gardens, they let me stay with my folks when I came into town. This place won't.
