The decision to move our loved one to St. Anne's Mead was the best decision we could have made! It is filled with wonderful caregivers at all levels who have unconditional compassion for the residents. Because the staff rarely changes, residents are known and greeted by name. The loving care and companionship my mother, Carol Long, received at St. Anne's Mead provided longevity, happiness and peace of mind to both her and her family.
What a blessing! We are truly grateful. I am always grateful when I think of the loving care our mom, Virginia Jackson, received during her three years at St. Anne's Mead. It is a nourishing, welcoming and supportive environment for our mom and for us. My mother greatly benefitted from the caring, respectful and professional communications while transitioning to Assisted Living at St. Anne's Mead.

Services
Because of your support for our capital projects, we've opened a state-of-the-art memory care home and renovated our assisted living lounges. Now, we are asking for your support in Raising the Roof, one of the largest capital expenditures in the building!. St. Anne's Mead (SAM) carries over our legacy of caring to our donors, too.
St. Anne's Mead is the first in our region to open Assisted Living and Extended Care under one roof, adding a state-of-the-art Memory Care home in 2018. We are known for the highest quality care, with the personal touch, in a vibrant, interfaith community! St. Anne's Mead's Assisted Living home provides a wide variety of programs and services designed to keep residents as independent as possible -- for as long as possible.
Caregivers are nurses, resident assistants, lay people, housekeepers, doctors, hospitality staff and pets. We hope you enjoy our special feature. These individuals (and animals) deserve the spotlight! To kick-off our beautiful Autumn season, we are highlighting two exceptional team members in hospitality and dining services.
St. Anne's Mead was founded in 1966 by members of local area churches with the assistance of the Episcopal Diocese of Michigan. We welcome all faiths, offering weekly services for different denominations at our lovely on-site chapel, plus Bible study and spiritual counseling. We are also a non-profit organization, which means our bottom line is not our top priority.
SAM has a 54-year legacy of providing the highest quality care, with the personal touch from its home-like environment conveniently located near I-696, Woodward Avenue and Beaumont Hospital -Royal Oak Campus. Being at home is the authentic environment at SAM and a creed staff and volunteers live by.

For over four years my Mother has been an Assisted Living resident and continues to benefit from the high quality personal care she receives each day and evening. She greatly enjoys the variety of delicious & nutritious meals. The family and she appreciate the fine job from the housekeeping team that keeps all safe and secure. My Mother values not having to deal with elevators and together we are grateful to walk outside often and enjoy the lovely grounds.

We needed to help a dear friend move to a memory care facility in summer of 2019. We searched, visited, and interviewed sites. We were so grateful to find St. Anne's Mead on 12 Mile in Southfield. There are various approaches to memory care but we really like SAM's approach the best. They utilize an approach called Best Buddy...where SAM actually hires someone to keep the seniors engaged informally. They have PT and OT of course elsewhere, but I love that this person's main role is to sit with a resident to share a cup of coffee or visit with someone alone on a couch, etc. The

My mother lived here for two months shy of SEVEN years in nursing. No one lives that long in any nursing, but at St. Anne's Mead, the care is above and beyond amazing. The love and nurturing they gave her every day was obvious in the wonderful life she had. My father visited with her twice a day and once he stopped driving only once a day; but each day he was treated with the such kind respect and love as well. He was made to feel that they were both part of the family.
Unfortunately his health declined, as he had stage 4 lung cancer and needed the full-time care they provided, and the final 10

I didn't want to give them 1 star but had to in order to write a review. Please do not send your love ones here, they mistreat the seniors, give them wrong medication if they give it to them at all. A horrible place to send your loves too, what appear to be a nice place to move my grandpa too was all fake, lies and a big cover up!!! This place needs to be shut down!!!!

My mother was moved here in early 2017, after a stay at the hospital. She had been living in a senior living apartment, but needed more help. While the building is on the older side, the staff at St. Anne's was absolutely fabulous. My mother had the opportunity to return to the senior living apartment as she got stronger, but she didn't want to. She was happy staying with the wonderful people at St. Anne's. My mother passed away this week, but I am very thankful for the staff at St. Anne's helping make her last year as pleasant as possible. Thank you.

My mother was a resident at St Anne's Mead for 14 months. The staff is excellent and very caring. The food is excellent, and the employees in the dining room know every resident and their exact needs, even how many sugars they want in their coffee! My mother thought it was a restaurant! My mother was approximately 91 years old, in a wheelchair with dementia when she entered the nursing section of St Anne's Mead. She was healthy while living there and never once had to be hospitalized. That was a huge relief. WARNING: You have to be careful though because when money is running

I don't know where these people have their loved ones, (those with the bad reviews), because it couldn't possibly be St. Anne's Mead. My mother has been there for more than two years. She is well treated and cared for by a loving staff. I am grateful she is safe and in a facility small enough that everyone knows her name. Also, the staff is respectful of people of all faiths. I absolutely recommend St. Anne's Mead!

The Staff is disrespectful of the various religious faiths of the residents and the residents are not allowed by the staff and management ti have the services of their faith. Religious services are disrupted by the staff on a weekly and daily basis. The staff does not cooperate with the activities department in getting the residents to and from various activities.

My mother was a resident of St. Anne's for 4 years and the saddest day of our lives was when I had to relocate her to a nursing home that took Medicaid, as St. Anne's does not. She was first an assisted living resident and the last year in the nursing home section and the care, compassion and kindness in both areas was incomparable. I have recommended St. Anne's to numerous friends and those who have placed a loved one there have absolutely NOT been sorry. There is no easy way to make the decision that a parent needs more help than they can give themselves or you can provide. As
