Our one-on-one approach to optometry makes Dr. Sugg, Dr. Meredith, and the Heber Springs Eye Care Center staff the eye and vision care providers of choice in the Heber Springs area. Our Heber Springs optometrists offer the following services: complete eye exams, contact lenses, glasses, glaucoma testing, treatment of medical conditions of the eye, and pre- and post-operative care.
This is by far the best eye care center that I have ever used. Dr. Sugg and Dr. Meredith are both very knowledgeable and caring. The ladies that helped me pick out my glasses are experts at working with you and helping you get the look. More and feel that you need. I trust them completely. They showed me the perfect pair of prescription sunglasses that work perfectly for me and what I do for a living.

Services
At Heber Springs Eye Care Center, each member of our vision care team is selected based upon his or her experience, professional demeanor, and dedication to providing personalized care to our optometry patients. Our entire Heber Springs optometry staff is committed to ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of each and every patient.
At Heber Springs Eye Care Center, our staff is friendly and professional. Our commitment is to provide exceptional customer service to all of our Heber Springs patients. We take pride in our personalized care and strive to spend the necessary time with each patient to ensure a comfortable experience.
During an eye exam, our doctors will ask you questions about any symptoms or issues you are experiencing, medications you are currently taking, any blurry vision, your work environment, and your overall health. Family history and previous eye or vision conditions will also be discussed during this part of the examination.
Even if no eye or vision problems are apparent, the American Optometric Association recommends scheduling your baby's first eye assessment at 6 months. These problems are not common, but it is important to identify children who have them at this young age. Vision development and eye health problems are easier to correct if treatment begins early.
At Heber Springs Eye Care Center, we strive to meet all of your eye and vision care needs. Corrective lens evaluations and prescription management are provided by our optometrists in Heber Springs. After a comprehensive eye and vision evaluation, Dr. Joe Sugg or Dr. Winn Meredith will discuss the variety of contact lens options with you to select the type that best fits your vision needs and lifestyle.

Mrs. Sugg, Dr Sugg’s wife wrote a horrible comment on my business’s google account. Not a good business decision! I will continue to refer everyone I know away from this businees’s unprofessionalism. Dr Sugg needs to control his wife’s business decisions in the future. Extremely UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I have been waiting for this moment. A few weeks ago I was told I had optic neuritis by these people. Well, let's just say 1 MRI and 2 eye specialist later, I in fact do NOT have optic neuritis. They also didn't even get my eye prescription right. I was walking around with my eye prescription to STRONG for over a month. I have went through so much emotionally because of this wrong diagnosis. I will NEVER refer anyone to this place!

Do not recommend. I took an eye exam and PAID for the glasses I received almost 2 weeks later. The prescription wasnt strong enough. I went up there to get a stronger prescription for glasses and was told "give it a couple days to see if it gets better" even after one of the nurses KNEW the prescription wasnt strong enough. I have called a few times being told I would get a call back and never received one. On top of that they ran uneccisary tests on my eyes trying to play Sherlock Holmes after I told them I had an eye condition. They only did that so they could charge me more money when I only

Dr.Winnfield and his nurses (I guess that's what you would call optometrists help in the back) are amazing. The woman who helps fit and helps fit glasses is awesome too! However besides the woman who checks you out at the end they need a whole new check in revamp. I almost walked out and rescheduled my appointment somewhere else due to the rudeness upon check in. ESPECIALLY SHELBY. I walked in and stood there while all three ladies stared at me. SHELBY even looked up twice to roll her eyes and look down and then over at the woman to her right who finally decided she would hand me papers to check
