Dr. Iram Shaikh-Abbasi is a board-certified family medicine physician. In 2002, Dr. Shaikh-Abbasi completed her residency in family practice at MCP- Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, PA, where she also served as chief resident.
After her residency, Dr. Shaikh-Abbasi spent four years in private practice and as a hospitalist in New York before moving to the Chicago area in 2006, where she worked in a private group practice in the western suburbs.Dr. Shaikh-Abbasi ventured out on her own in 2018 when she started her own family medicine practice.

Due to current covid-19 restrictions, my very first appointment with Dr. Shaikh- Abassi was a televisit (video call). Though it was not an actual visit, I was immediately aware of how caring Dr. Shaikh- Abassi was. For starters, she was engaging and personable. She patiently listened to my symptoms and walked me through what was wrong and how to manage it. She was extremely thorough and did not rush the visit at all. I was appreciate of her time and attention. We have been looking for a New primary care physician for our family and I am so happy that my search led my family here.

I'm so happy I found this doctor. I saw her in La Grange and now I see her at this Willowbrook location. She is an amazing listener, an amazing clinician, and has an amazing bedside manner. I've converted both my parents and soon husband to start seeing her! Highly recommended. I trust her with my life.
