Diane Rose is the owner and teacher of Montessori Fun. She established this program with a few Montessori activities in her living room, and her own children when they were toddlers. She has a California Teachers Credential (emphasis in early childhood) and a Montessori Teachers Training Certificate, has over 25 years experience working with preschoolers and toddlers, and has three grown children.
She developed the rich and extensive academic curriculum with beautiful hands-on materials that is seen in Montessori Schools worldwide, serving infancy through high school. Maria Montessori was a woman ahead of her time. She developed an amazing curriculum through respect, admiration and countless hours of observation of children and their needs and ways they learn best.

My son attended this sweet preschool for over two years until he was kindergarten age. The two full time teachers are both wonderful with the children and follow the Montessori ways of teaching. The kids love it! They learn the simple rules, how to behave, how to work on something and put it back, how to play like kids should, and how to do things like wash their lunch dishes, including a potentially breakable cup, and fold towels. They have fun doing it all! My son loved sweeping the landscaping rocks off the path. But, he also liked playing "ninjas" with his friends (game made up by the kids

We love Montessori Fun. My daughter loves going to school and sometimes doesn't want to come home. She's making great friends and the teachers are amazing. We love watching everything she's learning, and her little brother is learning along with her. We're definitely sending him there when he's old enough.

My daughter loves Montessori Fun. She's happy at drop off and sometimes doesn't want to come home. She's making great friends. It's fun to watch everything she's learning from ABC's, caterpillars turning into butterflies, Spanish and even a little bit of French. The teacher's are amazing. I'm excited to see what she learns next in kindergarten.

This preschool is wonderful. The quality of care is of the highest level. Diane and Ellen are wonderful with the children. When I leave my son there I feel he is in safe hands. The kids have a very well organized day which includes play, art, music, Spanish, learning and reading all in a variety of methods. The snacks and lunch that is served is wholesome and mostly organic and all the children eat together and share in clearing their place as well as washing dishes! They make it fun and I love when I pick him up early just to see him eating and conversing with others around the table or him

I have had all three of my kids attend Montessori Fun, and I wouldn't have it any other way. The curriculum is amazing, and the kids come home providing information about things ("Mom, that is a cumulus cloud"; "That's the bug's thorax") that you wouldn't expect a typical 4 year old to know. The Montessori method teaches graduated independence and self-responsibility. I love that my kids come home telling me about their "jobs" and are enthusiastic about helping with chores around the home. Montessori also values completion of things, which is

My child attended Montessori Fun for over 2 years and it was the most wonderful experience I could hope for. I looked at many preschools, observing both in the classroom and out in the play yard and immediately saw the quality in this program and the Montessori philosophy. The first thing I saw when I visited was the children at lunch time. The children took turns setting the table, serving the healthy hot lunch that Diane prepared for them, and cleaning up in a calm peaceful atmosphere. The student teacher ratio was very low and the classroom was beautiful. I found both teachers to be very patient

The teacher/owner Diane is horrible and did not take good care of my child. She was rude and condescending. She made excuses of why my child was not cared for properly. She said I needed to put my child back in diapers because pull ups don't work at her school too hard to get off and on. Stay clear of this preschool, horrible.

My son is and has been enrolled at montessori fun for the last 2 years and I cant say enough about what they have done for my son. His confidence has soared, his social skill have greatly improved and he suprises me everyday with new and worldly things he has learned. Both ellen and diane are so patient and treat the children with not only kindness but with a great amount of respect Which for me was very important in determining which school to enroll him in. I will be looking forward to enrolling my other son there as soon as he comes of age as i couldnt be happier with the education they have
