Matteo's Italian Restaurant is located in the Grand Pacific Junction of Olmsted Falls. Matteo, meaning Gift of God in Italian, is our owner's family name. The Matteo family originated in the Abruzzo region near Rome, which boasts the best cuisine found in Italy. This is where our long standing family custom of creating quality Italian cuisine began.
Since opening in late March of 2015, Matteo's has been getting rave reviews for the food and service. Grandma Matteo's oringal recipes have been enriched to create an exclusive variety of dishes. Matteo's presents a little bit of home in every bite! Food was pretty decent and the service wasn’t bad (other than server being bothered by asking for an extra loaf of bread). However if you’re waiting a table, you should make sure that your customers are out the door before you start making nasty remarks about them. We apologize that we have children and they aren’t perfectly neat and that we can’t stop every thing they do wrong at the dinner table, but at least we left 30% tip to try offset the little bit of extra cleaning. We have held our annual Christmas OF Football Moms dinner the past 2 years at Matteo's and have been so pleased with the location, service and menu. We reserve the upstairs which offers a wonderful spot for a larger gathering and allows us to also do a gift and cookie exchange. We celebrated the season with some wonderful peppermint martini's last night - they were delicious. The food - as always was amazing! And the service was top notch. We plan to continue this tradition at Matteo's!

This is one of my wife and I's favorite restaurant. The owner was more than accommodating and the wait time was more than reasonable. Once we were sat, the waitress did an excellent job getting drinks, explaining menu items, and continued to check on our party. If you are looking for affordable and delicious Italian cuisine, this is the place to go.

Absolutely wonderful. Nice atmosphere, super friendly and helpful staff, and the food was just great! Definitely try the Italian Wedding soup as one of your appetizers. As a chef myself, I was Blown Away by the aromatic complexities of the broth and soup itself. I had the lasagna this time, and it was well worth it. The others in my party had the Alfredo, the seafood salad and the sea bass special. Chef Tony does an amazing job. I'll definitely be back.

I was there for a wedding reception in the upstairs room. It was very nice. The food is absolutely delicious... I had the chicken parmesan and the red sangria is the best I've ever had. Coco took care of all of us...she is completely amazing! I wish I knew the other girls name as she was amazing too. I definitely recommend this place.
