After practicing there for about two years, Dr. Doug and his wife Kelly moved to Kentucky where she's from. He loves providing high-quality chiropractic care to those in the Independence, Taylor Mill, and Edgewood communities. We believe in health care, not sickness care, and living a full, active and enjoyable life.

I appreciate the time spent in discussion re my problem. I did not feel rushed. We looked at the treatment from a whole body approach, not just pop my back and see you again soon. Dr Doug was extremely in depth for my first initial visit. He took the time to find out what my issues were and how best he could help.
As a chiropractic patient for most of his life, Dr. Doug began care at a young age. He's played soccer most of his life, including in college and chiropractic school. When he was in high school, however, he started having knee issues. An attending M.D. took a few X-rays and told Dr. Doug that there wasn't a whole lot going on.
At Andrews Chiropractic, we look at chiropractic care as the conservative management of problems. It's a movement-based approach at health care that focuses on treating musculoskeletal and neurological issues. Through that direct effect on muscles and joints, we can have an indirect effect on the nerves underneath - whether that's nerve roots coming out of the spine or if that's peripheral nerves running through muscles and joints.

Experiencing back pain for the first time, I wasn't exactly sure what I needed to do to get better. My husband recommended Dr. Andrews (he treated my husband for sciatica) and I am so glad I went to see him! When I walked into his office, I was not moving very well; I was hunched over and couldn't stand up straight. After just my first session/adjustment, I felt so much relief! He is so knowledgeable, and his approach to healing his patients is unique. If you are experiencing back pain, don't hesitate to give him a try. You won't regret it!

After falling 2 weeks ago I was in misery. Dr Doug took the time to make sure he wasn’t doing more to make the problem worse. After lots of discussion, some X-rays and explanation of treatment, I received my first adjustment today and already felt some relief. He throughly explained the healing process and the need for proper hydration to heal. I am looking forward to my next treatment. I would highly recommend Andrew’s Chiropractic to anyone that is in need.

Being somewhat skeptical of chiropractic treatment, Dr. Doug immediately put my hesitation to rest with his knowledge, professionalism and concern for my overall health and how it could be related to the issues that I was experiencing. Dr. Doug is amazing! I have been to several doctors since high school for my back and shoulder issues from sports. I am amazed at the conversations and recommendations that he gave that I had never heard before. Even from sports trainers from my college sports days. He takes the time to sit and explain things until you understand and do not feel rushed. AND THE PROBLEM IS FIXED! He has also helped my wife and father. Thank you Dr. Doug!

Dr. Andrews provided me with fantastic chiropractic care! I have never experienced such a thorough and personalized visit in any other chiropractic office.
