Services
Creating the right environment where a child can grow is an important part of learning. Knowledge and education are not limited to the four walls of the classroom. As such, as educators, we make it our duty to lead children towards new discoveries that can help them nurture their love for learning and discovery.
Being housed in the Marketplace shopping center in Corte Madera naturally allows us much connection with the local community. It is important for us to have the children be seen as competent members of the community who are capable of contributing to the welfare of the local citizenry. We do not merely use the school as an instrument for learning.
Prospective families are invited to tour Curious Minds Learning Center at one of our two open house tours. Please RSVP on the tour dates page. At that time, the director will highlight the philosophy and answer questions. All tours are for adults only. There is an $85 application fee. We do NOT admit on a first come first serve basis.
We are licensed for up to 30 children in the building at one time. With three classes running at most times, we have approximately 10-12 children in each class. Each program has 2 teachers with a ratio of around 1:5. Yes! Friday is Natural Classroom day, so if your child attends CMLC on Fridays, they will go each week (weather dependent) to the Richardson Bay Audubon Sanctuary.
Our two year old daughter Grace has recently joined Curious Minds Learning Center's Willow Class and in a very short time, she has thrived and excelled in her creative, intellectual and developmental abilities. Within her first week at Curious Minds, she came home speaking complete sentences, expressing her emotions and finally mastered the art of "taking turns" with other children.
