Most recently Chef John finished a very successful four year run as Executive Chef at the Montauks' now wildly popular Crows Nest Restaurant. A classically trained and a veteran professional John is able to create amazing meals, whether for an individual family, large parties or events. He always works in a calm, clean and organized manner, serving delicious and beautiful meals with precise timing.

Johns' Culinary training includes stints in several World Class Boutique Hotels including Santa Barbaras El Encanto Hotel and The Stien Erickson Lodge in Deer Valley, as well as large hotels such as The Four Seasons, InterContinental, Sheraton and Marriot.

We could not be happier with the services provided by Chef John Yaz. For several years he has worked for our family. From elegant cocktail parties in our NYC apartment to a spectacular wedding for our daughter in Montauk and everything in between! Family dinners for a busy work week, casual yet exotic barbecues for 20. Delicious, customized food with flair and taste yet with an eye to fresh, healthy, local, seasonal foods. He can do it all with a great presentation and attitude. No detail too small, waitstaff, Bartender's, clean up, rentals. Highly recommend Chef Yaz!
