I'm a certified yoga and meditation teacher (E-RYT) that specializes in working with beginners and seniors. I teach gentle yoga classes that focus on safety, proper body alignment, mindfulness and learning to trust yourself- even if you are new to yoga. I started my journey to yoga over 17 years ago and since that time I've taught yoga to thousands of people up and down the east coast.
I've also spent 30 years practicing meditation. My approach to teaching integrates Kripalu Yoga style of teaching compassion, with the mindfulness of meditation, and the awareness of nutrition, blended with personal training, and lifestyle coaching with humor sprinkled throughout! I offer yoga and meditation classes both online and in person, beach yoga, YogaWalks, integrative yoga life coaching, retreats, and women's programs.

I feel like I am my truest, most authentic self. It's like the world just stops around me and all that matters is this moment on the mat. It's a powerful feeling to know your true calling and passion. I believe I have found mine as a yoga teacher. My role as a yoga teacher has offered me grace, challenge, and a beacon of light to guide my way in supporting others.
Anyone of these alone would be incredible to achieve but bringing all three of them together allow us to be our complete, divine self. Yoga releases stress and eases burdens of the mind, it strengthen and heals the body, and it opens your heart so that your spirit can know the oneness of all things.
Yoga is a practice that is available to everyone. It doesn't matter what your experience or fitness level, your shape, size, gender or your age, you can do yoga. It's common to be concerned that everyone else in the class will be better than you and that you are going to be the worse one ever to do yoga.
This class allows for a gentle yoga practice, moving through postures at a slower pace. In this class we move in a way that you actually get the chance to breathe deeper and to really listen to your body and make adjustments as needed. The slower pace is also perfect for those students new to yoga because you have time to learn the postures and the flows.
This class is a great opportunity to practice the serenity of yoga in a truly serene environment - the great outdoors. Being on the sand by the side of the ocean magnifies the oneness that always exists but we often fail to notice. Yoga on the beach is less about alignment and more about communing with nature and celebrating your soul.
