Services
At Ardmore Hardwood Floors, 85% of our work comes from referrals and repeat customers! We use high-end German machines for flooring services producing high-end quality workmanship. These top-of-the-line machines are some of the best on the market. Not only do they provide superior hardwood floor sanding in Bryn Mawr, PA and surrounding areas, but they produce much less dust than others in the industry.
If you're looking for high-quality floor sanding, refinishing and staining that produces long-lasting results, look no further than Ardmore Hardwood Floors! We use high-end German machines for flooring projects that will keep your floors looking brand new. We're the only team in the area that uses commercial grade polyurethane.
Visit the showroom at Ardmore Hardwood Floors where you'll find hundreds of samples and options of hardwood and engineered wood. Whether you're interested in unfinished or prefinished flooring, we have something for any floor area! Additionally, you can depend on us for board replacement, floor repairs and carpet removal and installation.
Move these items into another part of the house and cover with plastic. We will put plastic in any door-less entryways to contain the areas we're sanding. If we're sanding your kitchen, you should clear the counters and put blue painter's tape to seal the cabinet doors if they do not shut flush. This depends on the particular stain.
When installing a new floor, a 1/4- 1/2 gap must be left around the perimeter of the wood to allow for expansion in the wet and dry seasons. It also minimizes the possibility of buckling boards if a moisture issue occurs. Molding or baseboard is used to cover the gap. If you have molding and are installing on top of an old floor, new molding will be required since the new floor will be higher.

We chose Ardmore to refinish the hardwood floors in the 2,000+ sq. ft. dining room at the organization I work for. The floors look amazing. It was great working with them. Great price, excellent work, and very friendly and responsive. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful experience with Ardmore Floors. From the first meeting to the final install, they were professional, kind, and courteous through and through. We had to completely replace our floors, and the difference between our old and new floors is night and day. My husband and I would recommend them to any friends or family, and would absolutely use them again in the future.

Myself and my husband highly recommend this wonderful flooring company to all of our family and friends. The professionalism was soup to nuts from the initial phone call scheduling an estimate, straight down to the timeliness and mannerisms of the this wonderful company. We would not even think of going anywhere else. They brought our floors back to pristine condition! Thank you Ardmore Floors for taking such care of our flooring needs! God Bless!

From start to finish our experience with Ardmore Hardwood Floors was responsive, courteous and professional and the result is we are extraordinarily pleased with our gleaming refinished floors. Ours is an older home and who knew all the beauty that was hiding underneath that dull, dark wood?!!
Art and Miguel are craftsmen who brought forth the character of our floors. We are extremely pleased with their workmanship and would highly recommend Ardmore Hardwood Floors.

I cannot recommend Ardmore flooring.
My reason is as follows;
I made an appointment the week before for an estimate.
Appointment was scheduled with a window time between 2:00 and 2:30.
After waiting and hour after 3:30 I had called Ardmore Flooring to find out where Ronald was and was told they couldn't reach him.
Due to this unprofessional behavior I decided to move on to a different company.
The only reason I gave them one star was I order to post this review I had to include a star.

Recently, I had a refinishing job done by Ardmore Hardwood Floors, 2375 Haverford Rd, Ardmore, PA 19003, 610-896-5152. The crew, Felipe and Marcos, did a really fantastic job. They always showed up when they said they would, and the job was finished on time. The floor looked like it was brand new when they were done. It was not an easy job because the floors were in very bad shape. Moreover, my interaction with, Ronald Smith, Owner, and Jennifer, Office Manager, was a most pleasant experience. They are professional, understanding as well as flexible, and will work with you regarding the nuances

There are none better! Professional, beautiful workmanship rescued my antique rare heart pine floors throughout my home back to their original beauty (though I wasn't around 100+ years ago).
I whole-heartedly recommend this wonderful local company. They are the best of the best of the best.
Thank you so much!

The reason I am writing this review is because I went online to get their number to inquire about what product they used on my floors since I'm moving to Colorado and would like the same one to used on my floors there. Ardmore Hardwood refinished my floors over seven years ago and they are still in perfect condition with absolutely no wear and tear showing. However, My kitchen floors were installed and finished 5 yrs ago by Pinnacle floors (who were subcontracted by the kitchen company )and they have worn badly. Their excuse is that this area gets so much use but they could not explain why

I called Ardmore Hardwood Floors for a quote. I was pretty disappointed. The man was over an hour late for the appointment to give me a quote. When he arrived he did not answer a single question I had about my floor other than telling me it "needed to be replaced". When I asked him how much it would cost to replace he wouldn't give me a straight answer and mostly blew me off. My husband had to pry it out of him. The amount he quoted was RIDICULOUSLY low. I cannot imagine the quote he provided would reflect a TRUE price. I found the whole appointment to be bizarre. Perhaps he didn
