Over 25 years ago, Paul T. Dickover started PTD Custom Builders, Inc. in an effort to "combat, " so to speak, the "hurry up and get the work done" attitude so prevalent among many of the home improvement type businesses he had worked for. He believed customers deserved better quality of workmanship, better service, and greater communication from start to finish.
In June of 1984, Paul applied for and received a business license from the Maryland Home Improvement Commission and started small, growing his client base exclusively by word of mouth. Now, 25 years later, Paul has stayed true to his vision of providing the highest level of product and workmanship for each of his clients, giving them what they pay for-total excellence in quality and value.
