My encounter with K & K Electronics Recycling would have been happier if I'd understood up front what to expect. My suggestion starts CALL AHEAD.
I discovered that business hours isn't as posted; it's when they're there. Call to be sure you don't miss them.
My next unpleasant surprise was that they won't accept all eWaste items free of charge. They advertise that computers & TVs are free to dispose of. The printers I had might have been free if they'd come with a computer each. CALL AHEAD if you have any question to get an idea whether & how much your disposal might cost you.
I can't expect

They answered the phone before they were even scheduled to be open. I dropped off a TV with them. It was accepted at no charge. They were very nice. Yes, they ask that you fill out a form with your name and address, but that is due to California recycling laws. If you need to get rid of your electronic waste , this is the place!
