Introducing Martinsburg Family Eye Care's optometrist, Dr. Troy Mysliwiec. Dr. Troy is a Moundsville, WV native and a WVU alum. After completing training in primary eye care in Salem, VA he began practicing in Roanoke, VA and has practiced there the past four and half years. However, the mountains of West Virginia kept calling and he and his family decided to move home to Martinsburg, and start this practice.
He is providing comprehensive eye care, including disease diagnosis and management, for all ages as well as provide contact lens and eyeglass services and materials.

Dr. Troy Mysliwiec offers comprehensive eye examinations for all ages. This includes a thorough testing of the function of the eye, assessment of the health of all ocular structures, and diagnosis and treatment of any conditions or abnormalities that may observed. During a comprehensive eye examination, prescriptions for glasses can be obtained through a procedure called a refraction.
Martinsburg Family Eye Care offers the latest technology in regard to both eyeglass and contact lenses so that you can feel confident and comfortable in your vision no matter what your needs or demands may be.
We have an optician on site to help with proper fitting of eyeglasses and to discuss all options and Dr. Troy Mysliwiec is can fit many kinds of contact lenses from the popular soft contact lenses, gas permeable contact lenses, as well as other specialty lenses for certain eye diseases such as keratoconus.

My husband and I had back to back appointments and felt we had very thorough exams. Dr Troy was not only personable but very knowledgeable and made sure I didn’t leave with any questions. Mark was very helpful picking new frames and appreciated his honesty on how a few looked! Very nice experience with all.

After completing my first eye exam with this practice, I am very pleased. Not that I have had bad eye appointments, but I always felt the pressure of completing all the testing in a certain time frame. At Family Eye Care, Dr. Troy made me feel comfortable and I soon realized he knew what he was doing and not just completing a process. The office staff were very friendly, and even when correcting a misconception I had concerning insurance coverage, I did not feel insulted or put down. I look forward to next year's visit , Lord willing.

Dr. Mysliwiec and his staff are extremely professional and knowledgeable....the most thorough eye exam I have ever experienced. The selection of frames is "on point" and the turn time for the finished product was speedy. I can see now! So nice to have a local destination for quality eye care. I highly recommend Martinsburg Family Eye Care...Dr. Troy is the best.

This place is absolutely amazing. I haven't been to see an eye doctor in years, and they provided a safe and calming environment. The appointment I had went more smooth than I could have hoped for. I am new to the area and I will never have to look for another eye doctor.
My only suggestion is to expand the choices for frames if it's possible. The selection availabile is nice, however, the Rickey Smiley collections are wonderful or any frames with almost a wooden feel are nice.

I absolutely would recommend this optometrist and, actually, already have recommended them to a friend. My husband and I had back-to-back appointments and everyone was so sweet to our kiddos. They even had coloring books for them in the waiting room. Dr. Troy was friendly and knowledgeable and seems like just generally a really good guy. The man helping us pick out and fit our glasses was extraordinarily patient with us as we took way too long to figure out what frames we wanted (some of the first ones that he recommended) and was very thorough in making sure that we knew what our insurance covered
