Dr. Amy Shumway is a licensed Chiropractor serving the Ft Lauderdale community. Originally hailing from Washington state Dr. Shumway has lived in every region of the United States but has made south Florida her home. She recently relocated from Pennsylvania where she had clinics in Allentown, PA and Phillipsburg, NJ.

Amy saved me! I am 9 months pregnant with a neuphrostomy tube attached to my kidney, a week and a half before being induced my ribs got dislocated so bad to the point it hurt to walk, breath, talk, sleep and lay down. I couldn’t move without my husbands help. I saw Amy for a little over a week, she was able to diagnose my dislocated ribs (I didn’t know what was wrong with me at the time until she told me) with no x-rays being pregnant. She takes her time, has great bedside manners, explains what she’s doing, and you can tell she genuinely cares for her patients! I am getting induced today

Dr. Amy Shumway fixed me! I felt in pain all of the time and the most fundamental movements were bringing me to my knees. I had visited other chiropractors and was always disappointed. I was skeptical at first but after our initial visit I felt confident in her knowledge, continuing education and professionalism. Before I knew it, the pain was gone and now I am able to swing my golf clubs with confidence . Doc Amy is a real gem. She has always been there for myself and my husband through many of our health struggles. She is a fountain of knowledge and a blessing of kindness. I love all of the amazing technology she has in the office and its always an adventure to see what I"m going to get to do on that visit. Our family has been seeing Dr Amy for many years. She is the most compassionate, attentive and professional Dr. I have ever been to. Dr Amy truly cares for each and every patient she sees. Dr Amy is honest about treatment protocol, one of the many character traits I love about her.
Shumway Wellness is a soothing environment and spotless. My kudos to her during Covid as she takes extra precautions necessary to keep her clients safe. Spreading out appts, disinfecting surfaces and recommending washing of hands before and after.

Dr Shumway is a one of a kind doctor. She is brilliant, kind, thoughtful and effective. As I myself am a holistic doctor, I am very discerning about who I trust to treat me, and she is my first choice hands down. Her chiropractic skills are unsurpassed, her knowledge about nutrition and healthy eating is vast, and her tools and toys are outstanding and complementary to the work. I am a 63-year old active male. I often damage some part of my body from pushing too hard, and I am convinced that I would be a handicapped old man without the magic touch of Dr. Amy. She has this crazy magical touch that has totally changed my physical life! I can walk in with any type of issue, from a small obscure pain, to the most debilitating and very painful larger problem, and within minutes Dr. Amy has properly diagnosed the problem and either made a proper adjustment at that time, or set me up with a handful of follow-up appointments to take care of it. It’s amazing, I’m the middle of a pandemic this DR office/chiropractic office has people walking in and out with no mask, nor are they requiring people to wear them. I have witnessed four people so far walking in and out of the office door with no mask on Nor did they have a mask in their possession. I’d skip this visit. Place is most likely a Petri dish.

I recently moved from out of state and I am so happy I found Amy! I have gone to the chiropractor my whole life, even as a baby. I have had many injuries (13 fractures) and arthritis, so I deal with chronic pain. Due to all of my injuries, I have been to several chiropractors who have hurt me, so I am very picky about who adjusts me. Amy listens and adjusts specific to each persons needs. My husband and daughter see Amy too!
