Owner and winemaker Phil Baily has crafted premium vintage wines for over 30 years, all made from grapes grown on family-owned property here in the Temecula Valley. On your next visit to Temecula, come and taste Baily wines and see for yourself why the Oxford Companion to Wine calls Baily Winery one of the two "most artistically successful of the small pioneering outfits" in the Temecula Valley.
Wine tasting is available at two of our locations: our main Tasting Room on Rancho California Road, for all of our wines and current releases, and at our Baily Estate tasting room inside our production facility on Pauba Road for our library red wines (aged, older wines).

Services
All of our wines are made from grapes grown on our estate vineyards by Winemaker Phil Baily at the state-of-the-art production facility. Specializing in the Bordeaux varieties (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon), Baily wines are know for their smoothness and expressive varietal character, the result of spending 30 months in barrel, 12 to 18 months longer than normal industry practice.
Our grapes come from 25 acres of grapes in four different locations in the Temecula Valley. The first acre of Mother's Vineyard was planted by our family on Mother's Day in 1982. Expanded in 1983, it now comprises five and one-half acres, all planted to the Riesling variety. The soil is decomposed granite, and the southeast facing hillside site creates an early ripening environment which produces grapes of high natural acidity.
Here you can taste our full wine list and current releases; red and white, dry and sweet. Baily specializes in the Bordeaux varieties (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Sauvignon Blanc, and Semillon), but also makes some fine Chardonnay, Riesling, Sangiovese and Port! The tasting includes six tastes of any of Baily wines from our wine menu.
Welcome to Carol's! Walking in is somewhat like walking into a medieval or European castle! A beautiful floor to ceiling fireplace dominates the dining room, also known as Bacchus Hall. Patio seating is also available next to our Cabernet vines. Live music fills the air during Saturday and Sunday lunches.
Two bottles of a featured wine (winemaker's choice) are delivered to your door every other month accompanied by tasting notes describing the grapes, wine, and food pairing suggestions. 10% discount on food and beverage at Carol's Restaurant (including holidays and special events). Complimentary tasting for two people any time you visit the tasting room (glass not included).

Visited on a Sunday morning for brunch and has a terrific experience!!
Bailey themes their Sunday brunch as "dog days" which means they're super dog friendly. Having two small pups myself, this was the perfect brunch choice for me. Absolutely loved the food! Top it off with a little breakfast wine and it's a perfect morning.
The staff was very friendly. Our waitress even brought our pups two doggy bones which they went crazy for!! I'm absolutely coming back. Loved everything about this place!!

We enjoyed our visit here on a chilly windy Saturday. You pay when you first arrive and they give you 6 tokens for $20. The pours were all a decent size. The workers were super friendly and down to earth. It wasn't overly busy so we were able to find a table inside and make trips to the bar area to order our tastings. The wines we tried were all awesome and flavorful. All in all a great tasting experience!

My last stop on my wine hunt (because a friend crashed on me...). This place is mad chill. Karen you are 5-stars! Sold me on a bottle of M&M and I absolutely love it. It's sad we got here late (4-5ish). They have a tasting that I really wanted to try: $20 for 6. When I come back, this is the first thing I'm doing. The restaurant closes early so be mindful of that if your looking for food afterwards. Atmosphere :A+. Staff: hella friendly A+. I will be back.

The food here is always delicious.
Our server Marla was wonderful, she has been our server many times over the last five years.
She is knowledgeable about the wines and recommended a great bottle of white wine to go with our lunch.
I ordered a salad with salmon and my partner ordered a chicken salad. We also ordered a basket of French fries, and they were some of the best French fries I've had.

Went there Sunday for wine tasting. Don’t need reservations so really easy choice if you are suddenly in the mood to taste. Great grounds, wonderful ambience. Need a mask to go inside and plenty of seating outside to really enjoy the weather. Very dog friendly
Tasting costs $20 for six pours. The white wines were all great (dry Riesling was particularly good). We enjoyed most of the reds as well.
Stepped into Carols to see if they had a cheese plate or something easy to take out with the wines and they didn’t, but that wasn’t a big deal.
Generally a great experience and highly recommend

Dog-friendly and COVID-safe! We stopped by with our dog to enjoy a tasting on a Saturday. No reservation is needed for the tasting room, but arrive before 4PM. As of Feb 20, 2021 tastings are $20 for six 6-oz pours. Wine is also available by the bottle/glass. You will need a mask to enter the tasting room itself to select your wine(s), and then will be asked to sit outside to drink. Well-behaved, on-leash dogs are allowed to accompany you. There's a nice little grassy area with tables to hang out in. The staff - especially Cindy - were very friendly and helpful. A great place to spend the afternoon

I really like this winery. The grounds are very pretty, the wine is delicious, and the food at the restaurant is also very good, and their service is great! After we ordered some tastings, we grabbed a spot on a wine barrel table in the patio and I walked over to their restaurant, Carol's Restaurant, and ordered a Philly cheese steak. It's was heavenly! Now to the wines...
-Riesling: delicious, I purchased a bottle.
-Sangiovese: maybe my favorite.
-M&M: Merlot an Malbec mix, tastes good, but Sangiovese better in my opinion.
-Rose de Sangiovese: similar to Renzoni's De La Rosa

People always dump on Temecula wines for being pretty low quality and I don't think that's always fair. There are some great wines in Temecula. You do need search for the good ones though and you won't find them at Baily's. We had lunch here so we tried their whites (both a Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc) and we had to discuss which one was worse. Temecula isn't known for whites I. General so I'm hoping their reds are better. But their whites are bad enough a winery shouldn't be serving them.
The patio was very pretty. It's a nice property and the food

It was a fabulous southern California spring day, sunny and about 70 degrees, as we arrived at Baily Vineyard & Winery. As we passed through the inside dining room of their Carol's Restaurant, we were pleasantly surprised by the décor, reminiscent of a medieval castle, including a massive floor to ceiling fireplace. Of course, it was empty on this lovely day, as everyone was outside on their beautiful patio.
Patio seating is located next to their Cabernet vines and overlooks vineyards across the street. On this day, there was live music, playing many popular favorites. Service was prompt
