The Temecula wine region began developing in the mid - 1960's when the Kaiser Land Development Company purchased what was known as Vail Ranch in 1964 and began investing in and marketing the Temecula Valley. Horticulturalists were brought in to evaluate the area to learn what type of agricultural products could be grown.
Bella Vista Winery invites you to become a member of the Bella Vista Wine Connoisseur Club. Owners, Imre and Gizella Cziraki, would like to include you - our friends and lovers of wine - to join our circle of friends. Members benefit from our exceptional wine collection and special events. Receive two bottles of Bella Vista Wine, Wine pairing recipes and newsletter every other month.
Located in the heart of Temecula Wine Country, off Rancho California and Calle Contento, is Bella Vista Winery. Established in 1968 this site became the first commercial winery in the Temecula Valley, specializing in organnically grown grapes. A visit to this winery is a unique experience, as it provides an intamite environment, with quality-crafted wines.
We will replace or refund you for any bottle of wine that is damaged, flawed or that the customer finds unsatisfactory. We ask the customer return the unfinished portion of the original bottle for replacement. By law, we cannot accept returns of alcoholic beverages unless the product is corked, or flawed.

I visited all the wineries in the Temecula and by far Bella Vista has the BEST wine out of all of them!!! The views and the vibes are excellent and will definitely be returning! The owners are very kind people and those who say otherwise are just wrong. 10/10
Bonus: There is plenty of open seating and it is very easy to accommodate large groups with little too no wait time at all!!!!

Very disappointing service. Came in to buy a bottle of wine and asked to try two white wines before making a decision. The owner rudely asked us if we were paying for a tasting. We belong to several vineyards and found this so disappointing that they would not be interested in telling us what they thought would be best versus trying to charge us for a tasting before buying a bottle. We will never go back there again nor will we recommend this winery to anyone.

Wasn't able to go inside Temecula's first winery due to the COVID restrictions but our So-Cal Sidecar driver got us a bottle.
This was our second winery on our wine tour. We took pictures in front of the cute and classy landscape art: carved bushes spelled out "Bella Vista." Our fearless driver grabbed a bottle of Muscat (sweet) to have with a light lunch at the Temecula Lake only yards away. Apparently, the lake is only available to Bella Vista customers. There's a bbq area and several picnic tables.
This winery also provided a discount on additional bottles since we

There are tons of great wineries out here, but none offered the personal experience like this place. Smaller and more intimate, the owners from Hungary (who came over 65 years via Ellis Island) will personally serve you and give you some great stories. Great experience, great place to take a group and get some personal attention, highly recommend.

There are not a lot of small, independent wineries left in Temecula (which is actually really said) - Bella Vista is one of the few. The owners are usually there pouring the wine; I was particularly impressed by the merlot and champagne. I was impressed that they incorporate organic grapes in their wines :).
Its an "old school" vibe in an increasingly commercialized Temecula.

I got to visit this beautiful place this past Sunday with a tour group from Corporate Coach Charter. We were 23 people in the group total. They were wonderful! The location was beautiful and the staff was so attentive and helpful. My friends and I that went on the tour even took home a bottle each of Reindeer Reserve! Would definitely recommend!

We enjoyed our visit to this winery so much we went twice during our weekend stay. The owners are amazing people. BV's champagne is really excellent and a great value. We also highly recommend a visit to the picnic ground after your tasting experience. The views have to be the best in Temecula. Lots of shade trees and a duck pond make this a perfect spot to relax - we took a bottle of champagne and a sandwich to a perfect picnic spot. So glad we found this lovely winery.

Loved the traditional feel of this winery. It was actually very refreshing from the big box / main stream wineries we visited that day. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. And they let us know about the open picnic area and live music just up the hill (still part of the winery). We were not prepared, but I guess you can bring your own food and purchase wine and enjoy live music- with an amazing view. Luckily for us, they also sold snacks there. So we bought another bottle, cheese and crackers, and enjoyed the band and great view. Thanks so much for an amazing time, will definitely be back!

Are you looking for the little winery where the tastings are served by the owners? This sweet little, down home, winery serves amazing wine from a quaint tasting room. The owners remind me of my immigrant grandparents who value hospitality and relationships over big business. Giselle and Emery are my favorite vintners of all time!

Beautiful view from the top. Personally thought their sangria was not great... Definitely their spin on it as it is nothing like a typical white or red, or even pink sangria. It tasted like a sweeter hi-c/sunkiss? But great, sweet staff so I will give them another visit and try their actual wines. It was an attractive place for anti-maskers since they weren't strict on it.

OMG! If you want great wines at an authentic old winery, this is your place!! It's small on the outside, and huge on the inside. Truly old world! It's the 1st winery in Temecula. It's not flashy like some in town, but you'll be missing the heart of Temecula wineries if you don't check this place out.

Great winery! They just opened back up! The wine selection is great, the owner is really nice, and they have a picnic area on site that you can use. I'd highly recommend!
We did a tasting of 6 wines for $15, then purchased a bottle and drank it at the picnic area. It was great! I'd highly recommend.

Bella Vista
First winery in Temecula, established in 1968
Evelyn was so nice. They just opened last Saturday, they are so excited to be open again.
They have a lot of ribbons for
Petit Shira, Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon. Nestled on the hill is a beautiful area for wedding, picnic or just taking in the scenery.
I WOULD RECOMMEND.

Bella Vista is a small, older winery in Temecula California. We went there on a Thursday afternoon and it was quite slow and we had the winery completely to ourselves. We were taken care by an older Hungarian lady who was such a sweetheart! She told us a lot about the wines and the history of the winery. After our tasting was done we got an extra glass of wine and went to check out the lake area and panoramic views. And let me tell you something, we weren't disappointed! The views are 180 degrees to the valley and the edge is surrounded by old wine barrels, which create a very cool atmosphere

Bella Vista is the site of original winery in the Temecula Valley wine appellation.
As many know, wine making was started in the Valley fifty years ago by Vince & Audrey Cilurzo. Today it is run by a very friendly older couple, who bring a Mom & Pop feel to it. Very old school!
We tried many of their best wines today and found the Muscat and White Merlot to be our favorites. And yes, we bought a few bottles to bring home.
Tastings run $12 plus tax and they have a large HDTV screen tuned to Europe football in the tasting grotto. When we visited, there were about a dozen or so patrons
