The Spartan Hall of Fame Cafe opened during the fall of 2007. This site, formerly Damon's Restaurant, was extensively remodeled during the summer of 2007 with a goal of providing an authentic Michigan State University experience in a location close to campus, yet accessible to suburban families, nearby businesses, and MSU Sports Enthusiasts!

The remodel helped to create an upbeat, and contemporary environment. Throughout the building you'll see display cases with a substantial collection of authentic MSU sports memorabilia, spacious banquet rooms, and casual hi top seating in our main lounge, and more traditional seating in our east dining room.

Bridal Showers Report

Did you know we host Bridal Showers most weekends? Since our opening in 2007, we've hosted hundreds of Bridal Showers! We host Bridal Showers in our private Spartan Room and also in our semi- private Duffy Daugherty Room. We have a dedicated server staff that can make this a very special day for the Bride to be!

Rehearsal Dinners Report

Did you know the Spartan Hall of Fame Cafe hosts rehearsal dinners? Since our opening in 2007, we've hosted hundreds of rehearsal dinners for very pleased guests. Join us for your rehearsal party of up to 50 people in our private Spartan Room, up to 40 people in our semi-private Duffy Daugherty Room, or more by combining these spaces.

Corporate Catering Report

Did you know we cater? Whether for a small informal gathering in your board room, or for your large on site Company Picnic, we have a team who will exceed your expectations! We have a proven track record of catering for groups of 50- 1000, and have menus and service levels tailored to your needs. Our mobile Grill and Catering Truck make the perfect back drop for your function, and give us the ability to cook your food fresh and on site.

Ingorned when we arrive at 8:05. The girl behind the bar wouldn't even look our way. Too busy cleaning to even acknowledge. Our server was okay, but didn't offer refills. If you are open until 9, you should provide service.

Got the rueben sandwich. It was delicious! Asked for a recommendation and the server didn't hesitate to suggest this! I also got a flight for $5 and a warm cookie and ice cream. So good!

Food and service were average, we expected more. Not busy, servers not attentive. Burger was overcooked and the open metal frame basket it came in was not good choice. Will go back eventually, try something else. Maybe we caught them on a bad day yet anticipated a higher quality experience.

Delicious food!! I had the sweet potato fries nachos and wow!!! So good I ate the whole thing!! Great service, really cool memorabilia all over the restaurant!! Go Green!!

Went for a quick dinner. Chicken tender platter was good and you get two sides, by far the Mac and cheese was awesome and delicious. Will be going back for Mac & cheese next time. Very filling and worth the price. Service was good as well, which seems to be rare lately.

Spartan Hall of Fame Cafe is a must-try for tourists and MSU students. I was beyond pleased on my first visit. They have arguably the best Buffalo Chicken Tenders in East Lansing and their tenders come served with Texas toast. The service is good I haven't had a bad experience. They have great quality appetizers and nice drink options. I only wish they served Mozzarella sticks or Cheese curds.

We had a wonderful catered buffet luncheon for 60 people in the Duffy Daugherty room after our parent's funeral. Steve was terrific to work with during the planning and his communication was perfect. The staff were all so friendly and very efficient. We were able to show videos/pictures on their video screens with no issues. The food was wonderful too! It was overall a great experience and very special event for our family.

Wow! Some really well prepared meals from the appetizers to the desert. The family really had a treat. The quality of the food and presentation was impeccable. Will definitely be going back soon.

Nice yet comfortable environment. Lots of MSU sports memorabilia throughout the restaurant. Friendly and competant waitstaff. Lots of appetizer and entree options, including daily specials. Good desserts too. All are prepared perfectly and tasted great.

Cool atmosphere with tons of memorabilia. The lobster bisque was very good and I had their shrimp and chicken alfredo which was so-so. Had a funky/weird flavor. I'd go back for their lobster bisque but not the dinner I had.
