Services
Dr. Miles began his career in Tarpon Springs, Florida, following graduation from the veterinary college at the University of Florida in 1984. To supplement his income, he worked nights at a local emergency animal clinic, where he developed a keen interest in emergency and critical care medicine.
Two years later, he accepted a full-time position with the Animal Emergency Clinic in West Palm Beach and subsequently purchased the practice with another veterinarian.In 1994, they opened a second Emergency Clinic in Deerfield Beach. These two clinics provided emergency coverage every night and weekend for over 150 local veterinarians extending from north Broward county to the northern extremes of West Palm Beach.

While the ladies who work at the front desk and in the office are very nice and we usually receive great vet care here, we recently had a horrible experience while putting our dog down. Not only was she not given enough medicine to stay asleep long enough for the vet to find a vein to administer the heart stopping shot, but they insisted we move her into another room after she woke up and became stressed since the vet could not find a vein. When we tried to transport our frantic dog into another room that we were directed to, there was another family already in there. We were then moved to a surgical

Bob Miles and his staff are THE best! For the past 13 years they have overseen the care - and the final passing - of my three dogs I brought with me when I moved here from Atlanta. Excellent care of my pets - and the most caring people ever to me when it came time to say goodbye to each one. I only wish I could give them 10 Stars instead of 5!

From out of state. Our dog Hercules broke a toenail with the quick still intact. Chose Dr. Bob because his name was listed and not just a clinic. Because of covid he was the only staff. He had me come in asap. Dr Bob was great. I highly recommend his office and thank you for taking care of Hercules!

I love Dr. Mayles and his caring staff. He is such a hard working man, with just the right touch for all of the different things that can and do happen with our loving pets. Besides dogs and cats, he also provides care for exotic birds as I have been in the clinic with other people who also agree with the excellent care and love found here.
