Services
We provide weekly waste removal service of all your household trash on the designated day for your neighborhood. We will provide you with a 98 gallon wheeled container with an attached lid before your first pickup. The container will hold six to seven 40 gallon garbage bags and has a weight capacity of 280lbs.
As of 2014, we now offer commercial service. In January of this year recycling became mandatory for businesses. We offer weekly, bi monthly and monthly pick up for your business of both trash and recycle. You'll find we have a space friendly alternative to what you are doing now at a price you will find more pleasing.
Evergreen provides weekly collection of trash, recycle, yard Waste and bulk Items on the same day of the week. Participation is encouraged with our once a week recycling program. We do "single stream recycling" meaning everything goes into one container and is sorted out at the recycling facility. Yes, this really happens.

This is a terrible company. We recently moved and are using this trash company because that's what the previous owners used. For the past two months, the trash service has been unable to completely empty our trash bin. They leave at least a bag if not more in the bin after emptying. We are a small household and have at the most 4 bags in there, so the fact that they cannot empty the bin is ridiculous. We have spoken to customer service multiple times, and each time they informed us they would speak with their drivers, and write a note in our file to make sure this doesn't happen again. When it

Super upset. New service. Contacted the company on the 30th. Thursday- the day they pick up. When I spoke with the customer service lady, she was nice. She explained that they would try to add me to get cans sooner, but worst case they would be delivered before the pick up the following week. Do you think my new trash cans were delivered? We have had five waste companies since we moved to Delaware. First Allied Waste (purchased by Republic), then Waste Industries (purchased by GHL), now Evergreen. The reasons we switched were excessive price increases (on the order of 20% or more annual increase in service cost), lack of reliable pick-up, and charging extra for recycling (yes, this is illegal in Delaware, but the companies get around it by either charging you extra for the "bin rental" or only picking up every other week).

Evergreen waste is the best company we have ever used for trash removal! We forgot to put our cans down this past week following Christmas and our kind service team went out of their way to grab them from the top of our driveway and return them there! Reliable local trash company. Market competitive price(not promotional/no contract)with reasonable but infrequent rate increases. Low considering how much everything else has gone up in price recently. Free large item removed every week. Large sturdy carts. Same day pick up for both trash and recycle which makes things so much easier. Same guys week after week, year after year like clockwork, cans out night before everything gone in the morning. Real people answer the phones and they are always friendly. No complaints would definitely recommend. Love supporting a local community oriented business

I used this company for 7 years. I paid them once a year in full. I recently moved & where I moved to.. Evergreen did NOT service my new address so I was forced to cancel. I asked if I would be refunded the money that was NOT USED since I paid for the year.. The lady said yes I would receive a check in the mail at my new address.. I moved in July.. it’s Nov.. no check. Here it is another week(10/20/21) of what I can only assume is that I put more trash out, than the guys cared to pick up...and when I call and can finally get through, they lie and say that my trash (which I put out weds. afternoon for thurs morning pickup) wasn't down on the curb. Yet my neighbor (who rolled her's down this morning) was able to get her 1 bucket picked up.

I'm honestly shocked at a lot of the experiences people are writing about on here. I have had Evergreen for over 10 years and for the most part the service has been great. I have never had my trash left unless I forgot to pay or didn't put my trash out early enough. They come every week and take my trash and my recycling. They also take 1 bulk item for free and you can call and they will price another item for you. I like that I can pay my bill online. My price has gone up since the beginning, but it's not overwhelming. Others in my development use Evergreen so I think that helps keep costs down

I switched to Evergreen from one of the big conglomerate waste haulers after experiencing years of constant price increases, sloppy and unresponsive service. Evergreen had started servicing my neighbhood and I noticed the good work that was done. After looking into their fees and finding them half as much as I was paying the conglomerate company for sloppy service, I made the switch to Evergreen. I've been nothing less than highly pleased with Evergreen. They deliver professional, quality service and office support that you just don't receive from the huge national haulers.

Had Evergreen since 2014, everything was fine in the beginning. I recently moved & they don't provide pick up in the state I moved to. Well since my account was paid until the end of August I figured that they would reduce my payment & send me the difference. Nope. Unexpected things occurred between my moving and settlement date & I had bulk trash. They expected me to PAY for a Saturday service. Now that's not happening, use my credit & pick it up.
Between the moving in settlement date I had to stay somewhere else for a week in another neighborhood that they do pick up

I have been a customer for 10 years plus! It started with Covid Fee. I had no more trash than normal for one person. Didn't pay the fee. Kept charging more and more late fees. Th office staff is terrible. First said no credit until I closed account. fast forward three months, still have late fees and prices went up again. No notice on increase just on new bill. When I called questioning the bill, I find out I've been charged for yard waste removal from the start. I never had yard waste to give them. I was told bill will still be over $100 yet a family of three across the street pay $66. I'm charging

Started out to be good, but it has went downhill ever since. I called to stop service and was told no refunds, fair enough. Keep picking up trash until the end of August, for which has been paid. I see other people say you have to pay for them to pick up the cans, wow, did not see a thing on the bill! If they want there cans, they can pick them up themselves. I am so sick of EVERGREEN WASTE SERVICE! After about 15 years...They keep going up on cost but look for little reasons for not picking up your trash. First change the time they come out after years of coming after 6 they start coming before 6 and decide not to swing back and pick up your trash when you missed them by a minute! Now, new rules, no plastic in recycling...so we don't pick up your recycle can! Anything to NOT PICK UP YOUR TRASH, but we will certainly go up on your bill. I am looking to switch waste services! Tried to call to make a payment for the past 2 weeks and no one picked up or called back. Decided to drive over and make a payment in person. Door was locked and looked in the front door to see someone getting a massage. Maybe the should be working and answering phones then getting a massage in the front lobby area. Unacceptable services. Will be switching to a new company ASAP. Worst costumer service ever. They make sure to ask for tips on your trash cans every year.

Paid for lawn waste pick up and was told to put the grass clippings in a large plastic bags as their supplier doesn't make the trash cans any longer and they didn't have any. They came to pick up the lawn waste and leave the bags on the ground for me to clean up. I called and asked them to come back and get the bags as they were blowing around on my neighbors yards. I was told that they would send someone out to get them. I told evergreen I was going out of town. The next day my neighbor texted me and said him had to pick them up and throw them out. I was using this company as most of my neighbors were with them. Definitely unprofessional service. They collect the trash. That's it! Do not request more. Any complaints comes with extra charge without any approve. I was never able to talk on the phone with this company. Only text with no answer most of the time. They never pick-up calls. But they pick the trash. Indeed it is 80%. Most of the time, they leave some.... I usually do not give up easily with any company or person but I am sick of dealing with this company, going to give-up.

All these people want to do is collect your money but not do their job! I have never dealt with such an unprofessional service in my entire life. Both of my trash cans (recycling & waste) we're maybe ONE FOOT away from the curb, and the people who collect the waste basket just decide they don't feel like doing their job and will just leave my trash there ! SEVERAL TIMES!!! Even though the recycling was taken.. which indicates to me that they only feel like doing their jobs when it suits them! We were the first on our block to have Evergreen Waste Services pick up our trash. Today all but three use them. At the time they were 1/3 the cost of Waste Management and they were not able to pickup large items without a fuss. We just call Evergreen and they'll take a refrigerator, washing machine, anything big once a week.
I strongly recommend Evergreen Waste Services for anyone in the area!
