One on my biggest accomplishments in my eyes is all the happy brides that I have had the honor of doing makeup for on their wedding day. I explained what was important to me and she knew immediately what worked for me! She used the correct products for my oily skin and my makeup lasted all day on my wedding! I knew about Kimm's work because I used to work with her husband. I reached out to her when I was planning my wedding and she did the BEST JOB EVER. I honestly haven't ever - or will ever again look as beautiful as she made me look on my wedding day.
She invited me and my family over to her home / studio for the makeup trial. She was so kind, listened to what i wanted, but also was well prepared with ideas and a mood board for my wedding look. I left looking amazing and knew it was exactly what I wanted for my wedding.

I just want to say HOW AMAZING KIMM IS! I had a terrible trial before I saw Kimm. The previous artist did not know how to work with my skin type and my makeup did not last for more than an hour. I found Kimm and emailed her asking if she was comfortable with oily skin and she immediately responded stating she knew how to work with all skin types. I trusted her response and booked my trial. I'm so happy I did! From beginning to end she listened to what I wanted and used products that suited my skin type. She mentioned each step and how it will work for me. Kimm is amazing!! She is the sweetest person ever and is extremely talented. She did the makeup for my wedding along with my bridal party. She works so fast and was super calm and fun the whole time. We had a blast with her! My entire bridal party, mom, and MIL looked beautiful. The girls received compliments all night long. Through the happy tears and hardcore dancing, my makeup stayed gorgeous all night, even for the after party. I highly recommend Kimm!

Did a horrible job on my makeup for a shoot. It was extremely cakey and made me look 10 years older. My lip line was uneven and my eyebrows as well. When I reached out to her to see about a partial refund because my photos from the shoot were now unusable, she was extremely rude and blamed me saying I "have never done a shoot so I don't know how it works". She told me she will not be giving me any refund and that I don't like the makeup because of my preferences which is completely false. I was told I would be getting hair and makeup styled and she showed up late to the shoot

Kimm was amazing! She did my makeup and my bridal party and everyone could not stop raving about how great she was. I gave her a super general idea of what I wanted and what she did turned out better than I could've imagined. Not only is she incredibly talented, she was so fun to be around. She was so personable it made the time with her fly by! I can not recommend her enough!!!

I just had my bridal makeup trial with Kimm, and I couldn't be happier. This is after having 2 failed trials, so I was already feeling a bit disheartened. I have signed a contract with her for my wedding and I'm sure I'll be updating or leaving a second review with professional photos from that day once it comes :).
Things you should know about Kimm:
- She LISTENS :). Not only that, but she can take your mess or words (or your poorly made pinterest board) and figure about exactly what you are going for). She is an artist and she is damn good at her job.

Kimm did my makeup for my wedding in March of 2014. She is very talented. All you are looking for in a makeup artist. Versatile, professional and most of all, talented. Kimm recently did my make up for my March wedding. To say she is awesome is an understatement; she knocked it out of the park. Making me look like myself, but more glamorous and "polished". She also did my mother's make up for the day and she looked amazing. She was professional and listened to any feedback at the consultation; I tend to wear little make up and so didn't feel as comfortable with contouring. She was open to finding a look that fit me. I felt comfortable and confident with her doing my make up for the big day. And more importantly she is just a sweet person

I never take the time to write a review. Yesterday, I was going through my wedding photos from 2010 (omg time flies!) and aside from all the mushy gushy, reminiscent feels- I just could not believe how damn good my face looked! I mean, I looked really damn good! I even zoomed in on pics and every lash was just so, eye liner was simply flawless, skin smooth/flawless, lips to die for, eyebrows, I could go on..... During my trial, I realized to let the professional step in. She knew what was best (ummm she's an artist, hello!) Just a tip there...

3 years+ ago Kimm did my makeup for a photo shoot, and 3+ years later when I started planning my San Diego wedding all the way from Chicago, despite getting my makeup done by many makeup artists before and since then, Kimm is the first person I thought of when I wanted a natural wedding look. Honestly, Kimm must be some kind of makeup magician, because at the end of the night my makeup was just as good as when she put it on six hours before, without the makeup looking or feeling heavy and layered. Kimm did my makeup for my wedding. She is so sweet and super helpful. I wanted a natural look for my wedding (me but better) and she made me feel so beautiful. She did a trial a few weeks before the wedding and got everything exactly perfect so on my wedding day she had her game plan and just made me look great! She also did my mom and sister's (maid of honor) make-up as well as two of my bridesmaids. She came to the hotel where we were getting ready and made everything so easy. I highly recommend her for weddings or anytime you want to look your best! I wish she could do my makeup everyday
