ATRS recently hosted it's first annual Open House and Tour. We were able to welcome many textile and waste management industry professionals to our corporate headquarters. One of the tour highlights was our fabulous new office furniture from Steelcase. We thought we'd give some insight into our decision making process for choosing Steelcase because our efforts in creating a greener tomorrow don't end at textile recycling.

Earth Day commemorates the birth of the modern environmental movement in 1970. Some organizations choose to host their events on other dates throughout the month of April, too, so be sure to check your local date before RSVPing. Communities are inspired to directly engage their residents to recycle more and recycle right 365 days a year!
Join the campaign to Move2Recycle as we help universities across the nation donate and recycle during College Move Out Month. ATRS is committed to educating students about the importance of donating gently used clothes, shoes, bedding, towels and other unwanted dorm room textiles. Students are encouraged to avoid throwing away dorm room items that could be reused, repurposed or recycled.

This place doesn't recycled. It repurposes items that are in great to excellent condition. I am not demeaning that in any way, kudos to them for helping
BUT, with EVERYTHING else, they simply toss it out with the trash. I am just saying that for a company that is supposed to recycle, why don't they recycle? Lots of the tossed out items are good enough to be Goodwill worthy, such as clothes and toys, but for this company, not so much.
Change your ways or at least don't act like you are "Green" because you are not.
