In the last 90 days, I have two incidents where I had to go to the Flagler Hospital emergency room - one was for me and the other for my 87 year old mother. In both cases, the service and care provided was exception and I’m extremely grateful. In late November when I visited in extreme pain, the ER was empty and I was taken immediately, diagnosed and relieved of my pain within an hour. Everyone that I came into contact with was extremely compassionate and professional.
In January, I brought my Mom to the Flagler ER. She too was in extreme pain and concerned about a dire prognosis. The ER was

My husband spent 5 days there. He had to ask for everything from water to his medications. Nothing was brought voluntarily. He had to ask for a clean gown, sheets was never changed nor the floors ever swept in the room. I would come in to visit and paper would be littered all over the floor. He would have no water, I would have to bring him something to drink. The nurses acted like you were bothering them if you asked for anything. I'm sorry for anyone that has to spend days in there like he did that dont have anyone to bring them things. We have been in other hospitals that would give you a kit

Horrible hospital. I got there at 11pm - stayed “waiting my turn” until 4:30am. & STILL HADN'T BEEN SEEN. They’d insist in next, then 2-3hrs would go by. They don’t check on you. Just sit you there and tell you to wait. I’m pregnant and was having intense pain in my lower region and back, still was not a priority. Worst hospital I’ve been to by far, and that’s sad. Only rating one star because I can’t give it a zero.

I went to Urgent Care last night for an injury I sustained at work. I was worried that maybe I had cracked a rib. My pain was located front left side, a little left of my heart. But the Doctor wouldn't know that, because he didn't even ask where I was having pain. He walked in, poked at my back for maybe two seconds, then sent me to xray. Is it standard for a Doctor to not even do a basic exam anymore? I understand they can be busy, but to not even to check my heart or breathing when I'm in agony every time I take a breath, sniffle, and deep breaths feel like I'm getting stabbed... I felt very

Brought my daughter here because she was burning up. We are from Texas and are here visiting family. She has 103.2 and was not feeling well. They brought down her fever and kept us comfortable during our stay. If I ever need to come back, I wouldn't hesitate. You guys were awesome and a relief during my stressful time.

I had a mammogram there, they told me, they would not notify the doctor of the results only me. it was abnormal and they said they wouldn't notify the doctor. And- it was my responsibility to notify the doctor. I talked to my physicians, she said that is not true, they should have notified her of the results. My recommendation, if you have a need of radiology outpt, don't go there. I also called them and left a message asking for a call back to make sure the hospital was aware and I never received a call back from anyone.

My husband had to go to Flagler ER in August 2021 for an infected abscess. He had a CT scan done and the findings were different than what the ER doctor wrote. While in the ER exam room, the floor had dirt and grime in the corners and the walls dirty. Two days later my husband went to Baptist South ER because of the swelling and extreme pain. Within an hour of being in the exam room, a surgeon consulted him and took him in for surgery. My husband had chest pain about 2 weeks ago and instead of going to Flagler, made the trip to Baptist South, even though we live in St. Augustine. We will not go

First, the wait was horrible. Greater than 1 hour. After I checked in I sat for about 45 minutes and then got into a long line to ask a question. There was really no room in the foyer so I tried to squeeze against a table as much as I could. One of the men that assisted people with wheel chairs gave me a dirty look and rudely and loudly told me I had already checked in and needed to take a seat. I informed him I had been waiting and was in line to ask a question. He told me I could not stand there and pointed to a far wall saying I would need to stand against the wall. I said no one will

I was in Flagler hospital twice. both times for emergency situations. First time I had a terrible doctor who got angry and left my room. I had to leave that day to feed my cat. They were no accomodating for different situations.
I went there the second day, hoping to get a different doctor. Got admitted, transferred to a hospital floor. I had a perforated appendix, my heart rate was very high. The surgeon came and said that I may not need an operation, but the cardiologist has to examine me. I've got 3 Ivs, in my left hand, and on the third day something went wrong, my hand got badly swollen

My wife and I recently had our first child here. This is being written during the time of COVID-19, My wife had a scheduled c-section on Monday and the baby had to go to the NICU. They are only allowing one parent at a time in the NICU so I had to wheel my wife into the NICU and leave her with her baby who was hooked up to all sorts of instruments and she almost had a mental breakdown because I couldn't be there to comfort her. I guess my question to this is... if I as the father am allowed to come into the NICU then walk outside wheel my wife in and leave is it that much different to have

I've used this pharmacy for many years; long before it became a branch of Publix. I've never had a single issue or complications with their services. They always have the means to fill my prescriptions (never been out of stock), and within a very reasonable wait time.
They are a pharmacy with integrity, and not involved with any shady prescriptions or physicians. The staff is always friendly, patient and very helpful. If communication is needed with the prescribing doctor, they do their best to get the necessary doc to solve issues. I would recommend this pharmacy to anyone.

Be very careful what you believe about marketing. A pleasant picture is no substitute for ER nursing certification, skills, experience, and ethics. While there may be some solid nurses and doctors in the mix, the leadership is void of peer review and the employee empowerment required to foster excellence. Physicians have condoned scope of practice violations, and nurses without the required background and know-how are in charge. In addition, administration has a running history of sustaining the boarding problem(holding admitted patients for 12-36 hours in the ER).

In all honesty, this hospital treated my father atrociously. He was diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer and I feel his treatment with these people accelerated his death. I understand Stage 4 Cancer is difficult to cure and treat, however I had numerous clashes with staff here, his iPhone was stolen at one point, the least of my concerns at that time, the nurses during the night shift were not attentive and felt pumping him full of anti-psychotic drugs (Haldol) was a solution to him frequently needing to use the bathroom. I would go as far as saying the hospital is completely corrupt and profits on the

Also learned about all the outpatient services!! Super fast and easy. I had to have a few things done and I was in and out within two hours and that's probably because I stopped at the cafeteria to grab something to eat after a blood draw.
Flagler Hospital reminds me of a great auto repair. A one stop shop! Having recently moved up
from Miami, it's heaven not to have to drive to 2, 3 places to get labs, x-rays, etc.

Spent 6 hrs in the ER recently... a bit long for someone who doesn't frequent doctors much less hospitals.
My ER doc was knowledgeable & with an engaging personality, had a good vibe. The petite ER RN was demanding, ;her way or the highway. The person doing the blood draw was stellar... kudos to her! Facilities and tech were a bit less than state-of-the-art, but good overall.
Easy access, ample parking, no waiting in the foyer.
Is choose Flagler again, should I need such services.

I LOVE Flagler Hospital and the staff!
On November 30, 2015 I got my gastric bypass here by Dr. Marema! He's the best! I'm not just saying that because I survived, it was everything before hand that made me choose him as my surgeon.
He will make you feel comfortable and build a solid Dr/patient relationship before and after your surgery.
I was in and out in 24 hours and it's almost miraculous.
All of my nurses and the helping staff were amazing. I never had long waits or any frustration and I didn't even want to check out of the hospital.
I'd give it 10 stars if
