Cutting Loose has been around for over 30 years. First opened by Anita Foster, Cutting Loose was the place to go for the best hair services. Due to declining health Anita decided to sell the salon and I was lucky enough to be able to buy the salon in 1993. However, in an unfortunate turn of events I decided I would be better off if I closed the salon and worked with a friend for a few years.
Our staff regularly attend classes to keep up on the latest trends so we can provide our clients with a unique cut that best fits who they are. I’m confused by all of the good reviews. I asked for a base color for my roots and maybe run some color through for low lights because the top layer of my highlights were faded. The color was put on all of my hair as if I was starting over and then highlights put back in which obviously didn’t get processed long enough because you can barely see them. Then, I was charged 140.00 and didn’t even get may hair dried or styled so I couldn’t even see the real results until I got home and styled myself. Especially the last one were my hair was past my shoulder to a very easy cute shirt cut. Will be going back for highlights and all my hair needs. Thank you Stacy and Linda.

Love this place! Our stylist was Shelly. She is very talented and is amazing at her job. I have gone there for several years and I recently took my 11 yr old daughter to get her first hair cut. Nail biting for me! But Shelly did exactly as I and my daughter has asked. Prices are comparable to others. Great atmosphere. Kid friendly. 5 stars for me.
