God has truly blessed me with the opportunity to own j sloane hair studio. I have a passion for my career and I have devoted much of my time to staying current on the latest trends, products and technologies by continually attending trainings and hair shows. My education includes: Color specialist with Redkin and Schwarzkopf as well being trained in New York with Bumble and Bumble and attending aquage Master Academy in Las Vegas.

Family time in Brookings for a week and my daughter with very long hair wanted 10 inches off after having a new baby. I called everywhere knowing during tourist season it would be bust. J Sloane Salon must have had a cancelation or reschedule but we got an appt! Ellie was very good and listened to her, didn't rush the job, and made sure it was the way she liked it when all was done. Nice Salon at the Port shopping area, next to the Post Office, reasonable price for a long hair cut. Thank you for getting us in.

Before the day gets away from me again, I have got to give a shout out to this salon. I've gotten my hair cut 3 different times here, all by different ladies. All times, I loved it! Tabitha, who cut my hair a couple days ago, was very nice and made me feel very comfortable and welcome. I walked in there right before 5 expecting to have to beg her to stay late to cut my hair. She said she was just finishing up with someone and had planned to leave but to take a seat and she'd be right with me. I appreciated that SO much! She did a great job at fixing my own hack job, (dont cut your hair with sewing

Had my 4th experience here today and I cant give this place enough praise. Ellie, who was just the absolute sweetest chick, did an amazing job turning me into "Betty Cooper" lol I dyed my hair for a Halloween costume and I was absolutely, totally in love. I've had my same, natural color forever, and I do love my natural strawberry, but dang.. this blonde is cute! I may be hooked.. but I cant afford to do this all the time lol $ this was definitely a treat, and I will reccomend this place time after time. I loved everything about this salon and the stylists. I was a "walk in" and from the moment I "walked in", I knew I would enjoy it. The layout, decor and music set a really comfortable tone. Most salons have an overwhelming chemical smell. J. Sloane has a very soft, natural aroma and that alone would send me back. Denise was the gal who cut my hair and she gave me exactly what I wanted for a fair price. I felt she really listened to me and did not push hair care products.
