Wilson Winery is distinguished not only by its outstanding wines, but by the twin pillars of family and tradition on which its reputation rests. The tradition pre-dates the winery's founding in 1993 and is evident in the century-old tin barn that houses the Wilson's facility.
One of the oldest structures in the legendary Dry Creek Valley, the barn has been lovingly restored by Ken and Diane to provide a state-of-the-art venue for their award-winning winemaking while offering glimpses into both a storied past and a promising future.

Alexander Valley is often referred to as "California's Bordeaux", as the local landscape is itself a genuine mosaic of soil types and microclimates. Some of the best grapes in the world are grown here making this a winemaker's dream location for producing world-class wines. So when Ken and Diane Wilson discovered this property they knew at once this would be their new Cabernet Sauvignon Showcase.
Matrix Winery is a small family-owned winery located on Westside Road which specializes in Pinot Noirs as well as Chardonnay, Petite Sirah, Sauvignon Blanc, and Zinfandel from the Russian River Valley. Ken Wilson started planting grapes in Sonoma in the '80s and his vineyards are unexpected and diverse.
Soda Rock is steeped in history, and if the mossy old stone walls could talk, we'd hear some colorful stories. We strive to honor what has transpired here over the past 150 years. Many of our wines pay tribute to Soda Rock's past. Soda Rock is the original site of the Alexander Valley general store and post office, and was once the central hub of activity for the valley.
Ken and Diane Wilson first made a name for themselves specializing in Dry Creek Valley Zinfandels. At the heart of this beautiful property are the vineyards, 65 acres of world-class Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon-which allow the Wilsons to continue their commitment to producing only the nest wines possible while investing in the personal relationships with their clientele through private wine club participation.
