Our service bay is in our building, we can also restore at your location or marina. We provide all major restorations and service repairs. I have had the pleasure to meet Richard Allen about 5 years ago when I moved to Sarasota County from Washington State. I own Cape Dory Cruisers ( ), which is a division of Madison Bay Holdings, LLC ( ). We developed and manufactured the Cape Dory Cruisers in Washington and moved our molds and manufacturing… to Sarasota in 2019. Since that time I have been working with Richard Allen to develop an all-new Cape Dory 220 Marinaut Design and manufacture the boat at SRQ Marine.

I recently had a chance to work with Richard based off of a recommendation from one of his previous customers. Richard was a pleasure to deal with from the start. He is extremely knowledgeable and was very helpful throughout the entire process. The work involved swapping out twin outboards for a repower with all new gauges and controls. The work performed and his recommendations along the way were spot on. Communication was excellent start to finish, and I will definitely be working with him again in the future.

Bought a 04 Mercury off Mr. Richard at SRQ MARINE. Tested compression and everything seemed to be fine. SRQ MARINE then installed said motor, rigging, new batteries, re- wired my center console, etc. Paid the man over $5,000.00 for everything. I’ve used my boat three times and it beeps as if something is wrong. Richard had my boat for over a month the first time. Very unhappy and would never take my boat to him again. Over paid and he had it for OVER A MONTH!!!!
