I am new to boating and called Walt's because he has been in business a long time. Walt's WEB-SITE LISTS MY BOAT MOTOR AND BOAT. I called on May 20, 2019 and discussed with Walt my make, model, serial of the boat and engine everything I wanted checked and serviced on the boat. Walt said NO Problem I am a few weeks out and took my name and information. I had to change my appointment this past Tuesday and discussed I would drop the boat off Thursday/today. I took my boat to Walt's today who. I had spoken with three other times and Walt didn't have a clue about my past calls when I arrived. Walt sent

My story:
I brought my 2012 Formula 270 bow rider to Walt (with only 230 hours) after suffering a lot of setbacks that caused me to lose confidence in the vessel.
Walts been in the business for over 40 years and the power of his positive review drew me to him.
Walt advised me due to years of unfortunate salt water erosion and frankly improper maintenance (he educated me on the real standard of care) we worked together to restore the boat to its almost original condition the “right way” by pulling the motor out and starting over.
I worked with a lot of mechanics and never been afraid to

Never met Walt before I walked in his shop yesterday. I left today (with all the repairs on my boat completed) feeling like I just did business with an old friend. Walt's repaired my Yamaha outboard quickly and his charges were reasonable. He used all Yamaha parts and fluids. Walt did a great job. Highly recommended. I'll use him again.

Excellent work . . . Walt advised me with the best possible way to get my "07 Yamaha 4 stroke running in top form. The best part is that he has you drop the boat off when he is ready to work on it, so you are back on the water in a couple days.

Walt is the real deal - a straight up guy who goes way beyond to get your boat back to its best. 44 years as a boat mechanic and his no BS approach makes a boat owner very comfortable. I would highly recommend Walt - he is the best boat mechanic that I have seen by far.

Walt and his associate Marzton went above and beyond what was expected of him when I brought my 2001 125 2 cycle Mercury outboard to him. I had a bad powerhead, which I suspected. He diagnosed the issues and then researched all possible avenues to help me find the best option for either a repair or a new engine. He even went as far as calling Mercury, giving them the serial number, and finding out how many actual hours were on my engine. It turns out there were many more that weren't documented. I've already recommended Walt to others and will be back in the future for any outboard repairs. He

My experience with Walt was a good one. He is honest, trustworthy and knowledgeable. He had little problem diagnosing the starting problem and worked on my boat at my Marina. At my request, he took the boat to his shop and replaced the risers and manifold which were way over due. Upon inspection he showed me several other repairs that were not done properly.
My Chaparral 235 was High and Dry under Cover for the duration and returned Spotless. Pricing and parts were fair and the time needed was minimal...... If you are looking for the "hard to find" INTEGRITY factor this is the place.

I have been having Walt's work on by bass boat for the past 5 years after having a bad experience with an other mechanic. Walt has bent over back wards to keep my 1994 Johnson 225 tournament ready and even at the shortest notice went out of his way to to keep me in the game even while out on the water. Last year we upgraded to a new Mercury 250 and Walt did an outstanding job rigging and every thing needed to get back on the water. I have referred many of may fellow anglers to Walt and have had only great feed back. That's what you get with the 40 plus years of experience in the marine industry
