Services
At First Steps Education we know that all children are different and learn in different ways. We strive to teach using all learning styles and use classroom setup to provide all children different ways to learn the same cognitive goal. Ms. Adrieanna (Director) has a college degree in Early Childhood Education and has studied how a child learns.
The first year is the most developmental time in a child's life with many milestones from feeding to crawling to walking. We encourage children though the first year milestones by developmental activities from baby sign language which is a great way for children to communicate while learning to talk.
The focus of our infants program is learning through play. Our toddlers are offered a wealth of activities to explore their surroundings and the world through activities around motor skills and social skills with structured and unstructured play. Toddlers will engage in activities such as art, music, movement, story times, Spanish and more.
Our structured curriculum for preschool age children focuses on preparing children for VPK by developing phonics, letter recognition, sound recognition, number recognition and basic math concepts. Although our preschool curriculum has structured curriculum focus children are encouraged to gain these recognitions and concepts through play.
All First Steps Education Day Care Centers are staffed by dedicated teachers who possess the training, skills and passion to create engaging and fun learning environments that help your child reach his or her potential. We strive to create a rewarding environment of growth, not only for our students, but also for our staff, which is apparent in our low employee turnover rate.

Horribly unorganized. Few Teachers are competent there. They are cheap in price and all I can say is you get what you pay for. Not recommended AT ALL.

Great clean school. Teachers are great and we see evidence of our child's learning on a daily basis. The director, Ms. Ivonne goes above and beyond to help with any issues, and we love that nutritious meals are provided.

This place literally saved me from losing my sanity. My daughter was getting bullied at her previous preschool. First Steps Education put me on a wait list, then called me 3 days later with a spot available. They provide nutritional meals, excellent curriculum, staff is friendly. My daughter loves it here. I couldn't be happier.

As a first time mom going back to work I was nervous. This was one of the only places we could afford. My son is in the infant room so I can't say how the kids are changed in the preschool room. But my son is fed on schedule, changed often. I've not had him come home with a rash. He's always happy when I pick him up and excited when I drop him off. We had some scheduling issues in the beginning (I work evenings and dropped him late) and often found them out of ratio in the beginning. but since the owner took over (the director let go I assume )we've had no issues with either.
