The Hoffman Family has maintained a long tradition in the funeral profession. Our family-operated business, which spans five generations, was started by Henry Hoffman in 1841, making him one of the pioneers in the funeral profession in Somerset County. Henry Hoffman was born in Hesse Kassel, Germany in 1820.
It is the mission of Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services to facilitate meaningful ways for families to grieve their loss and celebrate the memories of their loved ones. We will do this by providing information, options, and guidance with the highest level of ethics, competence, courtesy and compassion.

Funeral arrangements require many personal choices. Many of those choices have been made easier for you with the York Merchandising System (YMS) display in our funeral homes. Research has proven it again and again: with YMS quarter casket displays, you can make your selections without being overwhelmed by full-size, open caskets.
