Emerald is your full-service environmental partner for automotive, commercial and industrial services that responsibly divert and renew our planet's waste stream. We do our part to secure a greener tomorrow by solving society's toughest waste management challenges. We created Washington's leading marine and industrial tank cleaning company, a major recycler of oil and wastewater.
Emerald has an extensive fleet of over 200 specialized vehicles (tankers, dry vans, flatbeds, vactors, guzzlers) and over 40 railcars that can handle a wide variety of hazardous and nonhazardous materials. More than 40 specialized programs compliant with local, state and federal regulations (OSHA & MSHA).
An integral part of our energy recovery and recycling facility, our Used Oil re-refinery utilizes state-of-the-art technology to produce low sulphur marine diesel oil and industrial fuels. Our recycled Marine Diesel Oil and fuel products directly offset the need for foreign oil on a gallon for gallon basis.
Our Water Treatment facility is specially permitted to treat all three categories of wastewater: solvent-bearing, oil bearing and metal bearing. Our technical services and approvals groups ensure that wastewaters are properly categorized and managed at the appropriately permitted location. We process over 10 million gallons of wastewater each year, keeping your costs low by transporting and processing wastewater in-house.
Our Part B Permitted Treatment, Storage and Disposal Facility (TSDF) conducts antifreeze recycling, solvent recycling, fuel blending and dangerous waste storage activities. We process thousands of waste streams including: solvents, paints, spent antifreeze, paint rags and debris. We offer the most specialized and customer specific recycling options in the environmental industry.
