Ridiculous policy. Will not allow a breast feeding infant and spouse in for an ultrasound. Covid-19 has been their excuse since it began to not let people in their building. They do not follow CDC or VA Department of health guidlines for Covid-19. Limited options in the shenandoah valley for pregnancy visits but look elsewhere. Neighboring Harrisonburg OBGYN has a much more sensible and relaxed policy.

A bad experience for me overall. No personalized care. Front desk staff can be rude. Communication is horrible. Every time you call, you have to leave a voicemail for them to call you back, even if they call you first with important lab work. All this does is result in playing phone-tag with the office all day. I've had a rough pregnancy causing me to be sick with my head in the toilet for the first 4 months to the point I had to leave my job. Finally found medication that semi-worked and the nurse didn't want to refill it. I asked if there were alternatives to be explored and she just said "no

Dr deaton is the best ob I have ever had. He is very passionate and caring. I would recommend him to any female that is having trouble with issues. He did a great job in my surgery and has helped me calm down b4 my surgery. He is a sweetheart..
As for the receptionist they need to do a better job answering the phone when patients call and nt be so rude.

I came here for prenatal care during my pregnancy and was less than happy, between waiting days for return calls when there was an issue, to being prescribed medication without discussion that I was uncomfortable with. Today I came to discuss birth control and was not seen at my appt time as I was not allowed to bring my breastfed baby in with me. Had I been notified of this change of policy beforehand I may have been able to get childcare for the appointment, but either way I think refusing to see a patient at a women’s healthcare facility because she brought her breastfed 7 month old baby along

I like my doctor here so far and post this review for management to consider their appointment schedule being rolled out longer than only 3 months in advance. I am unhappy that I have called 3+ times to schedule my annual appointment this year and have to go through numerous phone prompts on their phone tree, leave voice mail messages, and keep finding out they have no schedule rolled out beyond three months. I will need the latest appointment of the day and know I will have much competition for this time. I know I do not have this scheduling issue with other medical providers when calling in advance

I will never go through this place again with any of my pregnancies. The ONLY good experience I got out of this place was the midwife that was on call at the hospital when I went to deliver. She did a great job but other than that, the front desk and check out people are SO RUDE. Being a first time mom, they made me feel stupid for not knowing certain things. Definitely wouldn’t recommend

I saw the midwives for my first pregnancy and was very happy with the outcome. I did one on one prenatal care as opposed to the centering care. If you can do the centering I would recommend it. The midwives are great but it was clear that more education takes place in the centering care (also with midwives). My delivery was phenomenal! Kaya Norton did everything she could to help me bring my daughter into the world according to my birth plan. The L&D nurses at SRMH were amazing, too! Dr. Nelson needed to assist with my repair and he was very nice! Also, we had some scheduling issues and we ended
