Some highs and lows, though an overall enjoyable lunch.
A LOT OF LUNCH OPTIONS. The lunch menu is very impressive and had a lot of delicious looking options. I opted for the fish tacos, and my partner got the crab cake chicken sandwich. Unfortunately, my fish was overcooked. The rest of the taco worked fairly well, I just wish it had some mayo type element to tie things together. The tortilla chips on the plate were phenomenal and we could not stop eating them. Apparently they are guacamole chips and people frequently rave over them. The chicken crab cake sandwich was fine, though the pretzel

Extremely mediocre food, cute restaurant.
Located in the picturesque and quaint downtown of Berlin, the Atlantic Hotel feels old-timey and cozy. The service was good and accommodating. The food was average and disappointing. The presentation was lackluster, and everything tasted fine but not great. We got the brie with fruit, Maryland crab soup, garden salad, fish tacos, and ultimate grilled cheese. I would maybe come back for dinner or just drinks, but not for brunch.

Very good event venue for 75 or fewer. Food and sservice were excellent. Hotel...was not told some rooms were a full sized bed vs queen. Lost reservations when they "upgraded their system". Room 17 and those around it on 2nd floor are bove the kitchen, icould constantly hear conversations from below as if the employees were in the room including at 10pm and 8am. Rooms on other side
appear to have queen beds, and may not be affected. It's an old hotel, chairs are not very stable throughout, floors between rooms and halls are uneven. Hotel reservations staff appear untrainedp

What a lovely lunch we had here-in every way: great service (thank you Chase!) delicious food (huge portions) and wonderful ambiance. We had a window seat watching the quaint town in it's pre-holiday activity...just the thing to calm our current stressful days.
We started with the ham and bean soup-truly one of the best we've ever had. If you are a bean lover you might be disappointed because the beans had cooked away into the broth making a delicious thick soup with big chunks of top notch ham- but we thought it better this way. We were expecting a small cup and were served huge bowls

We went here for the Thanksgiving dinner and it was terrible. We sat at the table for over 35 minutes and not one person waited or even asked if we have even waited on. Empty tables and wait staff walking by continously. I asked for the manage 3 times and no one. Then we got the food it was cold, not even real turkey (turkey breast roll). I don't usually write bad reviews, but this was deserved.

We so wanted to like this place - a quaint restaurant in a beautiful old preserved hotel in the middle of the idyllic town of Berlin. But the dinner was lackluster at best - seafood of questionable freshness, sunken to Davy Jones' Locker in a sea of butter and cream, and extravagantly priced. The staff were polite and pleasant but the establishment was poorly managed with dirty plates sitting out for hours, tables unwiped, and just generally unappetizing.

We were going to have dinner here for my birthday, but we saw the sign that said "mask free zone" and immediately turned around. I will not give money to people who facilitate the infection and death of others. It's unChristian not to give a care about the well-being of others. So everyone: Please avoid this place.

Another great dinner at the Atlantic Hotel!
I had the special tonight which was Broiled Swordfish with Watermelon & Figs with some pancetta and prosciutto and a demi glacé sauce served with mash potatoes and locally grown green beans and carrot what made it even better was the figs were picked from their own tree! If this is ever on their menu when you're visiting it's a must try!
The better half started her meal with the Shrimp Bisque and her entree was the Broiled Topped with jumbo lumps of crab & touched with citrus Buerre Blanc & a drizzle of mango puree. She decided

We moved in to the Town of Berlin 10 months ago, from living only 8 miles from here for the past 20. We are frequent guests because it's just one of our favorite restaurants in the area! We love bringing out of town guests since we know they will love it as much as us. 8 of us last night started with table appetizers of the fried calamari, egg plant towers and the sriracha dusted wings. These are always a huge hit. We all chose a lighter meal from the "all day menu" and no one was disappointed and left full. Cold drinks, local brewery craft beers and excellent service! A

There was a mix-up with the reservation. I made a reservation for 6:30, but when I got our name was not on the list. The hostess kept offering me other sections to help accommodate me, which I appreciate, but I had very explicitly asked for the enclosed porch because I wanted to be quasi outside because of covid but screened into avoid bugs. Eventually she stopped offering me other sections and seated me in my requested area. The food was good our waitress Marina was pleasant. It's my second time having her as a waitress. I'll be back because why not. Berlin is super charming and the Atlantic hotel

Have been to the Atlantic Hotel restaurant now three or four times in the past few years. It is arguably the best meal that you can get while vacationing in the area. The food is just delicious, whether you are getting the fillet mignon or the crabcakes or the crab imperial or just a few drinks and a salad. It is absolutely delicious, rather expensive but worth the price if you are looking for a fine dine meal in a casual setting and want to jump outside of Ocean City for an evening

First visit to Berlin, America's coolest town, for shopping and sightseeing. Decided to have lunch at the Atlantic Hotel Drummers Café inside as it was a hot day. There is an enclosed screened porch. Took 20 minutes before we signaled someone to come over to serve. Pretty bad given that they seemed to be fully staffed and lots of folks running around. Mason C did come over and did apologize. We had a crab cake sandwich and chicken salad platter. Decent but very average food. Great ambiance at this Historic location but service and food lacking.

The Atlantic Hotel is a solid spot for a bite in Berlin. The food is reliably tasty, and the menu changes frequently enough that things never seem stale. Though, there are a few standard options that you can always count on if you're the type to have a "usual." The staff are incredibly helpful, and always very friendly. I've never had the chance to stay in one of the rooms at the hotel, but I understand they do a great job merging classic charm with modern convenience.

This review is just for the restaurant in the hotel. I came here on Thanksgiving and had their thanksgiving plate. The turkey and mashed potatoes were really good. I also had a blueberry cocktail of some kind. It was an ok cocktail but I probably wouldn't get it again. I thought the service was good and the decor was cozy and nice.

My mom and I always come here for lunch when we are in the area. The food somehow gets better every time, and there's a great drink selection. But Taylor was the best part of our lunch! Smart, helpful, and charming as can be! She gave great menu and drink advice and we were delighted with our choices!

WOW! Just wow..... if I could write a one word review it would be... wow.
The staff and front desk was sooooo friendly, kind, knowledgeable and accommodating. We stayed in the cottage which was amazing. Comfy and cozy with everything we needed! This is a beautiful old hotel in the middle of everything with a restaurant , bar and lovely outdoor seating with a view of the funky little town and main strip. So much fun!

My family and I tried The Atlantic for Easter Brunch. The food was great. There were 8 of us plus and infant and we all tried something different, we were not disappointed with any of the entrees. The drinks were good too, great Bloody Mary's and the blueberry lemonade was awesome.
The service was great, the drinks and food came out pretty quick, even with the size of our party. Our server Mason was great, very attentive and very personable.
We will definitely be making The Atlantic a new Easter tradition for our family.
