Dr. Kristina Neda grew up in Lexington and pursued her education at the University of Kentucky. She completed her degree in Biology and matriculated to the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. With her passion for sedation and oral surgery, she continued her education at the Kentucky Clinic General Practice Residency.
We use advanced proven technology to keep your smile looking the best! Modern dental technology like Digital X-Rays and CBCT 3D Imaging allow care that's faster, less invasive and more efficient than ever before. We also offer IV Sedation to provide comfort during long procedures or for patients with dental anxiety.
Gum disease and dental caries are the leading causes of tooth loss. Dental caries (dental cavities or decay) are areas of the tooth missing due to bacterial infection. Many times, there are multiple causes for cavities. The causes can include diet, home hygiene, bacteria present in the mouth, and saliva quality just to name a few.
When a significant portion of a tooth has been or will soon be lost to decay or fracture, your dentist at Thoroughdent Smiles will evaluate for potential crown treatment. A dental "cap" or crown requires reshaping the tooth after appropriate anesthesia has been acquired. At that point, any areas of decay will be removed and replaced to provide a stable foundation for the crown.
Dental emergencies can happen anytime. From a sensitive tooth that has been ignored to traumatic accidents, our office excels handling the most complicated of dental emergencies. When decay or a cavity has gotten large enough inside of a tooth, the tooth may become sensitive to hot and cold or even begin to ache.

Dr. Neda and Dr. Smith always provide quality services and the hygienists are some of the most personable and friendly staff in the area! I love how informative the staff is in explaining things but not pressuring procedures that aren’t necessary at the time. I wouldn’t go anywhere else or take my girls anywhere else. We love it!

I moved to KY recently and my grand daughter recommended this office. I needed a cleaning and to set up having a local dentist. Kendra was my hygienist and I highly recommend her. She was very gentle and did a great job cleaning my teeth. She also recommended how i can keep my cost to minimum. I also saw the dentist, Dr. Rick and he was also very good. Highly recommend this office and the people. They were all really nice.

We've been to a few different dentists through the years in Georgetown and this place is easily our top choice. It's conveniently located with ample parking. The staff was all very friendly and helpful.
The doctor and hygienist were very knowledgeable and we're thorough in their explanations. They were also very helpful and answered any question that I had.
Overall the place was clean and had a calming environment. Highly recommend and will definitely be going there every 6 months!

I recently went to ThoroughDent Smiles for my 6 month cleaning and it was such a pleasant experience. The receptionist greated me with a welcoming smile. My hygienist, Tami was so wonderful! She explained everything she was doing (which I appreciate). Tami pointed out what she saw that I was doing correctly, as well as areas for me to work for better oral health. My teeth felt and looked great when she finished. The total atmosphere was relaxing and inviting and clean. Thank you, ThoroughDent Smiles staff!

I moved to Georgetown last November and love living here. I found my new dentist today and could not be more pleased. I had a good cleaning and a thorough check-up, and will definitely be coming back for more. I see this as my new go to place for all my future dental work and cleanings.
The staff was absolutely awesome. They were very friendly and polite too. I felt so comfortable. With this being my first time ever being here, it was like I'd been a patient there for years cause that's the welcoming I received. I left my prior dentist because I'd moved, and because I was becoming very suspicious that they were recommending a LOT of unnecessary appointments and treatments.
So, because this place is conveniently close to home for me, so close I drive by here practically every day, I figured I'd try them.
They were attentive, friendly, and on-the-ball. There was a brief hiccup with my dental insurance, but they were sure to get that cleared up quickly. The staff was polite and friendly, and they didn't try to over-sell me on
