Hi, I'm Darcy and I'm based in the Des Moines, Iowa metro area. I've been a photographer for over 13 years capturing expecting mothers, babies, and their families. I love creating and capturing your memories as forever keepsakes. This generation is the most photographed generation in history, but with so little to show for it in the spaces we occupy most.
Don Corp always knew he wanted to be a police officer. Even as a little boy, he pretended to "collect evidence" and would plan elaborate "stakeouts" to watch for criminal behavior and mischief. Some officers choose to be a cop - Donnie was born a cop. He joined the Aurora, Illinois Police Department as a cadet at age 18 and in 1999 became an APD Officer.
I love photographing families! I am so very proud of the high rate of return - clients show their love by coming back over and over. It's such an immense honor! Capturing moments and interaction is my goal and clients love their story-telling albums. These are fun sessions and they tend to fill pretty far in advance.
Darcy's child portraits use Iowa's ever-changing seasonal landscapes to create a beautiful backdrop to capture these little ones' growing ages and stages. By incorporating nature into each session, the result is a unique and picturesque setting to tell each child's story. Darcy's use of color, light, and her ability to make children feel natural in front of her lens make her one of the Midwest's most sought-after child photographers.
Darcy's unique maternity style focuses on both mother and mother nature. This gorgeous landscape-style of fine art portraiture focuses on expecting mothers in scenic-Iowa landscapes. All sessions shot outdoors, on location with nature's gorgeous changing landscapes. Please book after week 12; sessions take place between weeks 28-34, usually around week 30.

We used them for maternity, newborn and family photos when our son was 8 months old. Their work is truly second to none. To this day, I receive countless compliments on our gorgeous photos. I’ve referred several people to them and will continue doing so. Not only is their product a work of art, but their communication during the process is so clear and they help you position yourself for the best possible photo. I really liked this because I’m the farthest thing from a model, and don’t know how to “pose.” But they help you look your best and the outcome is totally natural and effortless

We made the trip from Chicago to Iowa to have both our maternity photos as well as our newborn photos taken by the extremely talented Darcy & Randy. The detail they put into every image as well as the time they take with their clients is unlike any other photographers I’ve ever seen. All of the photos are absolutely breathtaking and show how much they care about capturing the memories. I will forever drive 5.5 hours just to get the best photos by the best photographers.

Darcy and Randy do a wonderful job! They put a lot of time into finding the perfect setting for the photo shoot depending on the the time of year and weather. They consider every detail down to clothing so everyone looks their best. We have had several sessions with them and all photos look beautiful and something we will treasure for many years.

We have used H&H photo multiple times for family pictures. Their work is unique in quality to the DSM area, and you won't find a better photographer. There's never a chance for a do-over when it comes to that unique point in time with a baby or little kids. I've always trusted that H&H will give us the lasting family images that we want for a lifetime of memories.
